  1. Sounds like PSG are in front to get Mbappe, which is why we now making push for Sanchez?

He's already told them he wants to leave, but Arsenal - as most predicted - are refusing to sell. If it's going to happen, AS needs to push

Which, so far, he's not done, barring telling Arsenal he wants to go and doesn't want to sign a new deal.

As far as I know, the deal he agreed with City ages ago is worth roughly £300,000 a week, probably slightly under (all bonuses included)

City were worried about PSG's interest last month, hence the push for Mbappe. But PSG's interest
in Mbappe has flipped the situation again

That's right, Guardiola's supposedly not keen on Sanchez kicking up a fuss in public, which is going to be a problem I think
More chance of keeping Brenda quiet.

Sanchez is currently better than sane and sterling

I agree but i'm still in two minds. I do feel like this ought to be a breakthrough season for Sane and he needs to be given a chance to establish himself in the team. We can't just keep buying young players and then crowding them out of first team opportunities. I know players need to be willing to fight for their place but there's a lot of flexibility in our attack minded players and maybe we've reached a point now where we should be giving enough space to bring out the best in them.

Thing is we need someone who has one chance and sticks it in the net. Sterling Sane etc and even Sanchez to some extent don't do this. Aguero should score more considering the chances he has same with Jesus and if one or two of these get injured I cant see were the goals are going to come from.

This is the way of top class world football - perform or else face replacement. Sane needs to perform to stay on the pitch.

Don't get me wrong - I like Sane and he has huge potential. But if he cannot perform for us, then unfortunately he won't get much game time in meaningful matches.

I just don't believe Wenger would say so explicitly that Sanchez isn't leaving unless he was sure, otherwise he's left looking like an idiot AGAIN.

Surely AW has learned from Van Persie, Nasri and Henry, all of whom he was confident weren't leaving, and all of whom left.

Unless it's a part of his plan to shift the blame onto the player, make them look like the badguy, and take the spotlight off of the fact that Arsenal have no ambition and can't keep hold of their best players.
He was lying then, most probably lying now. He's a businessman, he's trying to get the best deal he can.

We'll have to play 6 midfielders. It's worked well before.

Just to counter this because I've read it a few times, IMO it's dangerous to become over reliant on young players. We're currently in a situation where three of our forward line are 22 or under. Two of them have only a season's PL experience. Yes they need to play more and develop more, but one injury to ANY of the attacking line currently means everyone plays every game. The balance is way off.

Sanchez/an attacker is an absolute priority in the next few weeks.

I don't think he cares about looking like an idiot. Saying that he's not leaving increases the price. Thats the reason he (and other managers) say it.
