25m ?
its txiki and his haggling :)
25m ?
Save it, add another 115mil and try and get CoutinhoThat's still an awful lot of money for a player with less than 6 months on their contract.
Its a brand new world. That's still an awful lot of money for a player with less than 6 months on their contract.

Arsenal out of the FA. @Alexis_Sanchez did not play so he will not be cup tied. Alexis is close to sign with Manchester City, but Arsenal wants 35 million and not the 20 that the City offers.
on the other hand you could say that they now have no one to unlock defences when the fab four don't have space to play in.I don't think that's a fair way to view it. VVD and Keita bring a lot more of what they are lacking, "defensive effort and energy" than what they are losing from Coutihno and Can "offensive excellence and utility." They have a lot more of the latter than the former.
The only question is whether the players pan out. If CVD becomes Kompany-esque like many claim he will, and Keita brings that Kante like energy to Liverpool, they'd be significantly more difficult to play against than one with the brilliance of Coutihno and the utility of Can.
Cardenas is an odd one. He's clearly tight with the Chilean NT players but has been calling this transfer as imminent since June or so.

I'm thinking it'll be settled at 30.

Lalanna has a bit of that capacity. But once Keita gets here, this will also be one of his strengths. Albeit neither is individually as talented as Coutihno.on the other hand you could say that they now have no one to unlock defences when the fab four don't have space to play in.
£30m is not a bad price
Does it really matter let's just get it done, can't see our owners going to the food bank if it's £10 million either wayI feel like anything less than 30m is a good price for us.
25+5 would be pretty good.
30 million. Done deal. Doesn't play in the cup, fit and free for the Liverpool game.
FFS, another new keyboard needed. Does anyone know if there are coffee resistant keyboards out there?Does it really matter let's just get it done, can't see our owners going to the food bank if it's £10 million either way
Look at the value rather than the cost. Anyway £30m in today's market isn't that bigThat's still an awful lot of money for a player with less than 6 months on their contract.
