Oh, go on, I'll bite if nobody else will.

Performance in the league? - do you need me to list all the dubious decisions against us last year that (IMO) cost us the title? Should I start with the last second hand ball/penalty at your place? Or would the Kyle Walker push against Spurs be more fitting? I counted NINE clear as day penalties not awarded for us and that's without the blue glasses on. We were cheated out of even challenging for the title last season pal, so don't tell me our performances weren't up to scratch because that's disingenuous at best.

CL against Monaco? The one where their keeper should've been sent off and we should've been awarded a penalty (which we went on to win 5-3) or the one where their comeback was allowed to start with the help of a goal given after 8 minutes which was about 2 yards offside and when they then went on to "smash us" 6-6 and go through on the away goals rule? And all this against a club who are now having their team ripped apart because the bigger clubs are all scrambling around to get their hands on all of their star players. Yeah, we were dreadful weren't we.

Losing to you in the cup? When you were "allowed" to kick our most influential player out of the game after about 5minutes, then get away with a pretty clear penalty not being given against you, followed by Flaggy McFlagface "clearly seeing that the ball had crossed the line" and disallowed a perfectly good goal (at 0-0). Once again, terrible City performance.

Give it a rest jellied eels boy ;)

Anyway, I'm bored now, so I'll leave you to it.

Can't see us paying £80M because of his age ...not much resale value in 2 or 3 years.
Someone posted a list of our top 20 most expensive sales on here the other day. Looking at that list, I think it's fair to say it's not worth getting too worked up about resale values where we are concerned, we can turn any player into a loan with a view to buy no matter how much we've paid or what age they are.

To be fair, the 2 goals you scored against us at your place, in the league, were offside. Though I totally agree that you got an unusual number of decisions against you, including against us in the other 2 games, some of your own performances were as bad as the referees, you missed a tonne of chances last season, you could have won all these games even with bad refereeing. And at times defensively you were a shambles.

Let's keep it on topic. Can't see the price going much above £50m with his contract status. £80m seems wildly optimistic.

They were tough calls for any linesman and they were hardly blatant but marginal at best.

The calls that have been mentioned in this thread that went against us were beyond blatant.

The two goals against Arsenal at the Etihad were not in the slightest.

Is the size of the transfer fee now Arsenal's official position? Not sure. If it is, then we have moved a long way

I don't know where the £50m came from. That to me sounds excessive for a player who will be 29 next season and who is in the final year of his contract. There are no other clubs involved either.

I like that we are now at the stage where Arsenal are supposedly prepared to sell. Obviously Sanchez and his agent are doing some good work.

On a scale on 1 to 10 how likely would you say it is we sign Sanchez mate?
