Alexis Sanchez

Alexis to Monaco.. lol. Anything like that would just be used against Arsenal because they're still after Lemar and to a lesser extent Mbappe.

Nothing story.

for me sanchez is not needed and its just a cover signing if aguero or jesus don't fire iheanacho should be cover and we should keep him
this squad pep built is full of goals even danny welbeck would score 30 goals with the chances we are going to make so please pep don't be greedy hahahah
Think you are in a small minority there with that assessment fella

With the sale of kelechi now complete, it remains to be seen what will happen but we definately need a third striker. Kun and Jesus have yet to score in a friendly so far, and considering Peps frustrations of last season it looks like we are keeping our options on one of Sanchez and Mbappe. With Wenger being stubborn and reiterating that sanchez is going nowhere, means that this one could play out right till the last day of the window.

Whether we want that situation to play out like that is another matter, we dont want to end up not getting anyone in, Hopefully the Mbappe situation will be sorted asap because we will know where we stand.

Unless of course Mbappe is already agreed : )

That's an Mbarmy idea ;)

There's no way we get Mbappe this summer. The kid already stated that he wants first team football? From his point of view it's better staying at Monaco. Especially in a World Cup year.

Mbappe isn't the answer, you don't rely on an 18 year old to come in and score the goals. Our young gun man is Jesus, signing Mbappe would be stupid nor would he come.

Real have Benzema and Ronaldo who do most of the scoring.
Barca Suarez and Messi

It is not feasible to have a third world class striker.

That is why I don't really understand letting Nacho go.

Why would he go to a Monaco side that have lost virtually half of their team? He has already priced himself out of a move to PSG, so I could not see a weakened Monaco being to his liking.
This is how I read the Monaco interest. Great last season, but they've now been depleted, so why would Sanchez go there, apart obviously from the fact that he'd be living in Monaco!

You're likely failure to get Sanchez is kinda your own fault and that of clubs like PSG.

With the inflated transfer prices you and the others are paying the transfer markets been pushed to a crazy place where it's no longer viable to sell players like Sanchez for £50m as they are impossible to replace for that money. The same has happened with Keita at Leipzig.

No way would Wenger have not sold him to you if he thought he could replace him for the same kind of money. Alas, at the other end of the scale, it's sad for us, because the insane prices now mean Alexis could be the last truly world class player we see at the Emirates for a long time.

Sorry, was meant to put this in the post above.

We'll be in a bad position next year, but hopefully we can get ourselves in the champs league which makes us a more attractive prospect to the better players. I think all these factors combined make keeping him for this season the only sensible solution.

We'll see. Why was his contract allowed to run down in the first place? I'm sure I read that you have other players in the same situation, contracts running down and likely to leave on free transfers. For a club who go on about being run the right way, it's a strange state of affairs.

That constant claim that we're running the club the right way annoys Arsenal fans more than anything, as it's obvious they couldn't run a fucking egg and spoon race, let alone one of the worlds biggest football clubs.
