Alexis Sanchez

I don't understand the argument that it's not worth selling him because a replacement would would be expensive and therefore bad value. Surely letting him go for free and still having to find a replacement next year is even worse?

This whole saga is ridiculous to be honest, the only way Alexis comes is if he hands in a transfer request. A poor start to the season for Arsenal may aid this, but if they start well we can kiss our chances goodbye.

If they get their two main targets in which are Seri and Lemar while keeping Alexis they'll be an extremely strong outfit. We just need to pray Alexis pushes and hands in a transfer request.

Just to get your points right, are you an Arsenal fan or a City fan?

Could be back in the champs league though which changes things.

Really depends, I think Wenger is banking on Lemar if he joins or someone like Nelson lighting it up for them this season and then slotting in when Alexis leaves on a free. He's probably also banking on Alexis signing a new deal at some point which is wrong.

@Leto that's actually a very good point.

Ozil is easier to replace. I think Lemar does that job pretty easily personally. To replace Alexis they'd have to bring in someone like Dembele or Mbappe.

Well if they have to do it next season, they will have 50 mil less to do it with. And then there's Ozil.

The only possible way it makes any sense, is if Sanchez will sign a new deal.

I dont disagree with that. The only bit of ambition weve shown in about 6 years is loaning sanchez for 50m for a season. We need to do more of that.
When you out it that way I can't disagree.

I still don't know why you've not not spent a further £150-200m this summer though seeing as you have it. That would be a statement of intent and would help your contract renegades make up yheir mind.

If Arse don't sell him, I'm sure he will sign a contract extension sometime soon.
