I remember the Glasgow airport incident when a man on fire was punched in the face by a copper. Hope that copper lost his job and went to prison over it as well. Disgraceful violence on a man of no threat

He is a highly trained police officer and an armed one at that, he has a guy lying face down on the floor with his arms behind his back, yet still volleys him in the head and then stamps on him, that's the action of someone out of control.

As said before, arrest them get them in a van and give then a going over, no one would be the wiser.

The only thing that matters is the ones who started this are charged and jailed, they are lucky they pulled this off in the UK, if it was the USA or many other places in the world they would already have met their maker.
If he was out of control he would have missed.
Any Darwin Nunez highlight reel will show the same.

i was having a drink in a bar on the sea front in benidorm a couple of years ago and there was a group of about 12 blokes probably a stag do, one of em decided to strip off and run to the sea and back, when he returned he ran straight into a copper who grabbed him and gave him a good few whacks on his arse with his baton and he didn't hold back, gave him a right leathering, his mates visibly shrank and sheepishly stayed in the background while the crowd that gathered gave the copper a round of applause, if that happened here the copper would probably have been attacked and suspended amid screams of police brutality, very little fear of the police here
The Police in Benidorm don’t fuck about, mate! Haha!

Well his trial will answer that.
There won't be a charge let alone a trial unless there's a reasonable prospect of conviction. There's literally zero chance that a jury will convict an injured police officer who was acting to defend himself and others.

If that happens then you shouldn't reasonably expect them to be there when you next need them. Instead they'll stand aside whilst you get beaten up and they'll wait until your oppressors are done.

Does the independent tribunal decide that?

The opposite is true. The IOPC are not as independent as the name suggests, they and the CPS are falling over themselves to charge police officers with assault offences from actions in the line of work, as there is a narrative since that raping pervert bastard in the Sarah Everard case that police are all institutionally rotten people.
