If that happens then you shouldn't reasonably expect them to be there when you next need them. Instead they'll stand aside whilst you get beaten up and they'll wait until your oppressors are done.

I wonder if footage will appear before the Police turned up cos clearly there was a reason for them to be called.

It has already been shown that there are huge mitigating factors though. The officer had been twatted in the head and probably had concussion, his fellow officer had also been seriously assaulted, he also had to protect his own firearm.

If that was happening to me then yeah I might kick somebody to make sure they stay down. They're human as much as they're police officers.

What would have happened in your country? Those two scrotes would be dead now and very few would have shed a tear. In my mind considering what they were doing and considering where they were and who was involved, they're lucky to be alive.

You can “whataboutism” all day, but it does nothing to bolster the officers case.

“I got twatted so I kicked him in the head while he was on the ground and then stomped on his head, Your Honour.”

“Oh, you were punched? Well, that changes everything! You should have shot him, too! Case dismissed!” said no judge ever!

When you take the training, put on the uniform, then strap on the weapon, you assume a significantly higher level of responsibility. The end.

If it had happened in Niger the outcome might have been different, too. And China. And Russia. And Japan. And who cares?

It happened in T2 at EGCC. Deal with the reality.

It’s illuminating to watch people being apologists for a cop kicking someone in the head while they’re prone on the floor and presenting no threat and then stomping on them “because they’re a scrote.”

I’m openly wondering if race has anything to do with the reaction, because last I checked, this has not traditionally be a Thin Blue Line forum.
