Altercation at Terminal 2

Body cam footage should be available sooner rather than later to put this whole incident in perspective as I’m sure that these people are not totally blameless

I'm sure there are people making out the detained are saints and blameless. Again, from people taking sides without knowing the full facts.

There's people like you all across social media trying to link this story to the army person being stabbed.... why?

Just think loads find it weird how hated the police are and how much people love to attack them, usually the outrage is people are upset they were heavy handed with a piece of shit

I’ve had loads of positive interactions with police, I’ve had one left me off for being on my phone driving as I was ringing my Mrs to tell her to meet me at hospital as lad was there
Last season 3 coppers changed my old fellas who 78 flat tyre after a night match in the pissing rain for him
But once coming out of the 4-3 defeat at old Trafford I was stuck amongst reds kicking and spitting on me in my City shirt, I asked a copper for help and he gave me a dirty look and walked off
I just think he was a **** not all cops are cunts

This lad undoubtedly has to deal with pieces of shit giving him shit and getting in his face everyday and stands quietly not taking the bait while pissed up arseholes stick camera phones in his face and call him racist
Then someone actually starts punching you and your colleagues?
If it turns out the police were assaulted first then it’s a real shame if this lad loses his job

All these tests and training can’t allow for at what point does it all get to much and is there a breaking point, I imagine everyone’s is different but nobody can know until a real life situation occurs where you fear for your life

You should of been arrested in the 80s, it was the norm back then.
You took a beating in the back of the van and a 2nd serving back in the cell.
It made you think twice about being a dick again
It's 2024...we've moved away from the police brutality times. Or so I thought.
Hot heads that can't control their temper or act in revenge have no place in the police force today.

I suspect they're not blameless, but neither is the police officer. It's weird how people (not necessarily you) are so quick to entrench themselves by picking sides like it's a game of football. It's entirely possible (and very likely in my opinion) that both 'sides' are majorly in the wrong here.

Edit: And the bodycam footage will likely have to wait till after any potential court cases now before being released to the public. This won't be sorted any time soon.
I’m not picking sides but to make an informed judgement both sides of the incident need to be examined and to see why the police officer thought that the two men deserved to be arrested in the first place

No issue whatsoever with them being arrested; it's how he chose to go about it. He'll need a very good excuse, especially for the second one he kicked while he had his hands up and was following his orders.

do some reading mate, they wanted him for assault. found him at a car park machine and tried to arrest him

I’ve read both the police statement and several from the family. They both agree that the police were first called because of an altercation in the airport between two groups.

The family have said it kicked off because one of the women in their group was called a paki and physically assaulted. The police haven’t commented on why but only that they were called to a disturbance.

The police then claim their officers were assaulted whist dealing with that.

I’ve read probably about a hundred different Tweets about it and you’re literally the only person I’ve seen claiming he was wanted for assault prior to the incident at the airport.

maybe you should read actual journalists on the BBC and Guardian rather than twitter ffs

I have done and I'm equally unable to find anyone else saying he was a wanted man when getting off the plane. He wouldn't have even got to that part of the airport if that was the case.

cant realy see that whats happend prior to the kick matters, at that moment the suspect is kicked he's in a submissive position, the guy sat down is in a submissive position but both become subject for further force from the officer
