Morgan Rogers has impressed this season. Man City academy player. Only turned 22 in July. Could be a decent backup. Not sure he'd be willing to leave his role as a starting striker for Villa, however.

Probably no chance of this but seeing him walk over Arsenal last match was impressive.

I genuinely don’t understand why any player wouldn’t be desperate to join us. Apart from Pep’s genius, the chance to play alongside Haaland, KDB and Foden, where else apart from Real Madrid is any player almost guaranteed a trophy? How could any player who didn’t have the chance to sign for Madrid not want to come here?

They don't want to live in England, don't like Pep, have more career ambition than being backup and you can go on and on.

Yes, Arsenal won 2 nil. You can find match results on the PL website for future reference; you don't need to be asking silly questions here!!

He created two tap-ins that Watkins missed, would've gave Villa the lead twice. Gave the Arsenal defense the run around a couple times. Sounds like you didn't watch the match, or the pre-season, or Rogers ever?

Generally this means you can avoid commenting..

I agree, but Brighton have spent a lot this window and might feel the need to balance books a little for PSR. If there is a decent time to deal with them, it could possibly be now.

whats this about evan ferguson?

I dont see it happening at all - young but super injury prone so far. Not a good sign for a young player
 
Rodrygo should be the replacement, permanently starting as a left winger ahead of Doku with Grealish moved to midfield and playing as a striker when Haaland is out. The club shouldn’t sign a backup for Haaland who will be on the bench. Rodrygo is the one we should go all out for, should be a priority next summer. It’s a complete no brainer.
