Its embarrassing to think that Mancini put out an "attacking" team to "please the fans" as you are implying. As much as some people think that their view on tactics and team selection is gospel, Mancini could not give a fuck.

He is the man who is qualified to pick a team that he thinks will be best for many reasons.

I think he got it wrong resting our two best players De Jong and Silva but one must presume that the decision not to play these men was heavily based on the fact we've got a big game on Saturday.

To me, Mancini thought, with Liverpool struggling with injuries he could put out a the side without De jong and Silva and sneak a draw. It backfired, as he underestimated the strength of Liverpool at home.

However, as some of you have suggested on here, he did not play that team simply to please the supporters.

I've got faith in Mancini, his team selection was the reason why we lost however if it pays off for Saturday then I think the Liverpool result will be long forgotten.

blind faith. when he name is sang, it is followed by jokey remarks, or passionate shouts "get it right ffs" etc etc.

We also sing "all we need is jo" in your mind our supporters rate jo do we?

you need to open your eyes, ears and engage your brain.

by the way, i dont belittle posters who dont know the ins and outs at city. I had a dig at bigga about not knowing anything about football (as history shows). I dont throw my info around as a stick to beat posters with and very rarely bring it up.
