GROW A FUCKING PAIR AND MOVE ON!!

I have no idea where you work but picture this : Your boss has lead you to believe you've been doing a good job, you come into work one day and find out that you're out of a job and not only that but you're replacement has effectively already been appointed. How humiliating and incredibly unprofessional of your boss when all that was needed was some honestly and integrity. Still, i'm sure if that ever happens to you, you'll not be at all aggrieved and will instantly grow a f**king pair and move on.

If I came in and that happened with the boss turning round and saying not to worry though you will be compensated by x amount, I'd probably make a mess of my trousers and waddle out of there looking forward to Christmas.

Great letter and probably how a majority of our fans feel. Mr Cook, you should be ashamed of yourself. The club could easily have done it Monday and without Mancini present. We wouldn't have half the bad press were having now.

Had Hughes not been sacked the press - media etc would be taking the piss out of our defense and how piss poor we are. Press are going to have a go at us no matter what. It could have been done Monday but i guess Mancini wanted to see the team play first hand but i agree i feel a little uneasy in the manner

The only thing that made it uneasy was the fact that 44,000 people in the ground knew he was on his way and had to watch him go through the Last Rites. If there had been no game and everything had happened during the week I am pretty sure people would not be feeling as emotional about it.

Didnt Hughes and Co do the same too Dunney ? I'm sorry but thats just football nowadays.I was on the fence and didnt particularly want him out BUT after Wednesday's performance,he had to go .I would've expected to make the team perform better than that myself.

Dunne asked Hughes why he was being sold. Hughes told him City needed the money. Smug twat.

THAT WAS FUCKING GARRY COOK YOU TOSSER!!!!

How many times do you people need to be corrected, Dunney even said in the press conference "Hughes wanted me to stay, it was not Hughes decision for me to leave, Cooke said the club needed the money to balance the books"

But yes, if it suits your fucked up agenda to make it look like Hughes has not been treated unfairly then continue to spout this utter shite.

I was / am unhappy that Mancini was in the ground but i think Hughes handled it well and even people like myself who dislike Hughes have found a little morte respect for him.

You class 1 fuckin computer warrior wanker!

I agree wholeheartedly with the sentiments expressed in your open letter. I also feel we may have taken a step forward and very possibly three backwards in the total scheme of things (public loss of respect, loss of integrity, less success etc). We should have given the man at least until the end of the season. If someone would like to hail a taxi for that weasel Cook I would pay the fare happily. Alllegedly, he wasn't even there to relay the bad news to Hughes himself. Cook a class act? I don't think so. Anyone fancy starting a Cook out vote?

Get the fuck over it for fuck's sake.

And as regards this 'open letter', I still can't see what they did that was so terrible. Maybe it's cos I don't give a toss whether other clubs like us?

Carry on Cook I say. Bravo.

Well, if your objective when you took the job was to cream as much money out of the company as you possibly could and the compensation package allowed you to achieve that sooner rather than later then I'm sure you would be particularly pleased. But if your company had presented you with the opportunity to potentially achieve greatness and something worthy of global recognition, as well as cement an entry into your company's and industry's history books then you will see it as a huge disappointment. Still, you can always look at your bank account and remind yourself how rich you became for achieving nothing.
