Quite surprised this thread hasn't descended into chaos - maybe it's a new dawn for Bluemoon.

Move it to the cellar and within the hour it will be removed, along with 6 posters and 9 more would have a warning.

Well seems some of you don't know how does it work in France :)

whats the story of this?

Dieudonné is a french humourist one the best of his generation (apart from his opinions he is really gifted)

He was making a duo with jewish one Elie semoun (originaly from Morocco)

The always made jokes about "africans, arabs, racists, religions also"

One day Dieudonné made a sketch representing an israeli Colon and since that he was being attacked by jewish organisations and since him and Elie separated still consider themself friends but because of pressure one had to take distance

From that day he started like a sort of vendetta against what he call "zionists" something he wasn't before so he start to travel to iran, syria and started a political mouvement

and this gesture called "quennelle" has nothing to do with an hitler gesture but because of his heated relations with some jewish organisations especially when they started to try to ban his sketch and representations. this gesture is some sort of anti systeme or fuck off

hope it gives you some info

If not anti-Jewish, why people are posing against Jewish landmarks while doing it (assuming the clip posted by Dubai Blue is genuine)?

I talked about the gesture itself it's a bit different sir, some do far in France and are not banned i just explained how it escalated ! and i explain that it will not stop people doing it.

The French government seem to have a different view on it.

of course it will have if you live in France you will understand why ? i told the guy set up a political movement and in France its like that when a guy from you side attack or insult the other you close it but when its from the other side you make a deal out of it

I read somewhere that when the Israeli PM visited France earlier this year to discuss middle eastern peace talks a request was made that no black or arab employees would be present when he arrived. This request was sanctioned by the French government and may go some way to explain mutual resentment. Are you able to shed any light on this ?

Am I going senile or didn't Anelka sometimes celebrate goals in a quite a similar fashion when he played for City?

He shouldn't have done it although I doubt there was any ill intent.

He didn't celebrate at all when he was with us.
The most I remember him celebrating was the derby when he ran to the fans who grabbed him and started hugging him.

I think it was that he used to do, come to think of it
