Absolutely. I don't really think we need to invest on attacking players, but Di Maria is one I'd make an exception for. People wanted Fabregas but Di Maria would offer us far more in terms of having a direct option besides Navas. If he went to any other English club I'd be gutted because he'd improve them so much. He was one of the best attacking midfielders in the world last season, so if we can't get him I hope he stays at Real.

Downside is his agent is Mendes who is causing us enough problems with Mangala

Yeah, I don't know what Txiki and Mendes' relationship is like but there seems to be nothing between the Gestifute agency and City. Di Maria, Pepe, Coentrao, Falcao, Ronaldo, Thiago Silva - all linked with City in the past, not one joined.

May well be just business, Mendes has good established relationships with Chelsea, Real, Monaco and the rags for that reason it may not make sense to do much business with us unless it's essential

I think we need another "creative" player and Di Maria would, all things, considered be my first choice this summer. He would improve our options. In certain situations, Navas one side with ADM the other and Dzeko in the middle would be a diifferent way to attack a stubborn opponent.

Would be great but real won't sell and we can't afford him this year if we want a decent CB, which is a bigger priority.

For all fuss about Ronaldo it was Angel Di Maria that won the Champions League for Real Madrid. That performance in the Champions League final really was special

Zero chance of Di Maria moving anywhere.

If anyone leaves Real Madrid it should be Ronaldo. Would command a ridiculous fee and he's past his best.

I would rather sign Di Maria for 40m than Benatia for the same amount.

And I will be more than happy to have Di Maria, Fernando and Sagna for this summer.

I wouldn't, Centre back is an area that's needed filling for a while, we can't progress further in the CL if we dont improve in that department.

Personally I think we need them both if we are serious about wanting to win the CL.

Hard to see Madrid letting ADM go though ...

What an enormous crock of shit.
55 goals in 45 appearances last season. Imagine one of our players doing that and someone comes on here and says they're past their best.

Fuck me.

Not sure if serious, so just gonna say thanks for the laugh.
