He hasn't lived up to it yet Frank, agree with that. Very early days though for the kid. If he doesn't improve next season, then fair do's, but like I say, very early days yet to be writing him off.

Im not sure its a bias though, pretty much every City fan I spoke to was desperate for Balotelli to be the superstar we have all dreamed of watching. In many ways he hasn't delivered and showed a poor attitude at times to boot. Though I would never condone vile abuse of one of our own.

I point to the opportunity when Silva avoided the one-on-one to pass to Balotelli. Everybody knows Silva should have shot and scored, basically be more selfish. But he gave it Balotelli who had to beat three players with a shot to score. Where I was sat, every person started moaning at Balotelli, hurling abuse. Not one person pinpointed Silva as the fault there. Maybe bias was a poor choice of words, but some players to fans are 'untouchable'. Balotelli isn't one of these, so gets the brunt of abuse.

Thats fair comment and I really hope he is round long enough to realise his undoubted potential with us. Its very black and white at the minute with soime fans, earlier in the season there was threads suggesting Tevez was the best striker in europe and now we have threads saying were a better team without him.
Was sat up in Colin Bell 3 which was ok but moved down to level 2 for the second half and was amazed at the negativity. I think it must be the pressure.

I completely agree with that, some players are untouchable and other are not judged on by the same yardstick. Personally I think Kolarov gets a tough time as just one example. I slagged Silva off personally......but too myself

Too many city fans expect too much too soon. Silva and Lescott were both getting slated on here few months back, now it's a love-in. De Jong used to get his doubters.
Mario is a young lad, in a new country who has had an injury prone first season (as has AK). Have faith, I think both of them and Dzeko will have the doubters loving them by September.

Actual PMSL at this thread.
How you've not been banned is unbelievable.
The most blatant of the armchair cunts on bluemoon.

It's absolutely laughable the ease to which the Glazers tear apart your shitty soulless commercialised fairground. And all this happens while you're on a City forum. Now do one, you cockney muppet.

Never won a trophy, never will, have City and United on their doorsteps and could so easily just support one of them. But no, they stick it out at Spotland season after season and I was pleased they got promoted last season, same with Bury this season. Leyton Orient are the same, so many other London clubs they could follow!
That's loyalty!
