i remember when wigan went and put prices up from £25 to £35, instead of 5,200 fans going 1,400 went (inc me, new ground and all that), year after £5 and only £28 6 years later for wednesdays game.

Wigan v City - only City fans are interested in going to this game.
We need to protest - but a boycott by "true" City fans will only be letting the "daytrippers" sell it out instead.
In that case why dont the SC all send a joint letter to MCFC stating that they don`t want any tickets and the club could tell Norwich to fuck off good and proper as they also wont be selling any.

Norwich are charging their home fans £60 as well - (Members £58). Its a CAT A game - its the same when Chelsea go there on boxing day.
They are making hay while the sun shines.

When the police brought out the categories, not the clubs, it was to charge the clubs more, for more police on duty for games with potential for trouble. Now there is no trouble and far less police, the clubs decide to keep the system based on demand for big game tickets. The people who run football in this country need a wake up call and if we all did it, based on £40 max it might work. The germans did it because every supporter of every club were together for the best reasons. Apathy by the English is nothing new, :(

We already rip off fans. Yes they are taking the piss....But they are not alone as many other clubs are and will continue to take the piss..
Why?
Because we continue to pay the prices
And this won't stop as there will always be someone with an higher disposable income willing to take your place.
In a few seasons time when Norwich away is £95...Don't be surprised.
