Arsenal - Post match thread

Can someone please fucking tell me why I should have stayed to clap players and their families? Seen people on here being described as spoilt for not staying. Why? I don't fucking go to Asda on New Years Eve and clap them coming out for doing a good job. I don't fuck off down to A&E at 0730hrs and applaud the night shift coming out - and by fuck do thery earn it. So why the fuck should I stay behind to clap people that I have paid hard earned money, and given up my free time, to watch?

For those that stayed, crack on, I've no issue. However, don't fucking call me spoilt for choosing to go home.

I ain't calling anyone spoilt,it's a personal choice,I'd spouted all week I wasn't staying, and to be honest I would have well fucked off if we had lost,so that could possibly make me a worse supporter, but I stood there and thought u know what we have seen worse, don't get me wrong I'm so glad he's fucking going,a few players also, and maybe that's another reason I stayed,to see the old fuck go down that tunnel for the last time at our place, but more went than stayed that's for sure

and there is one of those fans now!
Yeh Yeh. I was at Wembley in 81 when Ricky villa scored. I watched raddy antic put us into division 2 in 83. I was at Stoke when we went into division 3. So I fucked off for a pint when an underperforming twat with limitless funds failed at his job. So I reiterate.
FUCK OFF !!

Does it boil down to any more than we have the most money and the most expensive academy so we should win the league?

Never mentioned winning the fucking league. I mentioned 'a bit of management'.

Too many losers amongst City fans, happy to suck in shit & pretend it's gold.

We have everything we need to compete. This fucking reanimated corpse has ripped the soul from the club, set tactics back 40 years & possibly ruined the City careers of several high standard kids.

He's done this with the highest spend in living memory.

Management used to be about adapting & making stuff work.

He watches the fucking game, like we do. But he gets paid.

Amazing what a difference it makes between a draw and a win. A win and everyone would be praising the commitment and effort levels, moaning perhaps why it had not been there all season. Fans would have stayed for Pellegrini thinking top 4 was much closer. I did not enjoy seeing Pellegrini speaking to a 1/4 full stadium. Call the man all you want but at the end of the day he has done nothing but try and win for Manchester City, and win in style. He puts the players out to perform and there has been many, many cock-ups with performances - mainly defensively - and purchasing from those higher up. Pellegrini probably bought City their best ever season. There has been, without a doubt, regress from that title win.

However, hopefully this is the kick up the arse everyone needs at this club, mainly those higher up that they can never, ever be in a situation like this again. I feel there has been a huge gamble on keeping Pellegrini, mainly to look holistic probably, giving the club stability when the manager takeover happens. It seems to be the way the club does things. They evidently thought with that goodbye video that the season would be ending much better than this. They have done nothing to combat the decline seen evidently from last year and hopefully this terrible scenario will wake them up.

Pep Guardiola better be the second coming, because City have suffered on and off the pitch to wait for him.

I don't agree with it, but I also respect other people's opinion - especially if they go to watch us play all over.

From my point of view though, my conscience is clear that I was there for my team. Just feel that as a fanbase, we have let ourselves down today on the whole.
The connection between the fans the players and manager has declined in recent years along with the atmosphere. People just don't feel that passion and connection like we used to , even when shit we had our favourites and those players who responded to the crowd and pulled us all forward. It began after that horrible day when we all knew Mancini was sacked before the fa cup final. Afterwards fans were singing you can stick your peligrini up your arse...he was not the people's choice....

We need to start feeling that connection and togetherness again. It's been lost and the last time I recall this disconnection was Alan ball . I want to enjoy going and it's just so disappointing, it's not been inspiring or exciting this season or last. We need to feel like the manager is one of us and we are In it together. Manuel isn't. Let's hope pep is.
