Arsenal's next four games

Home vs an in form Everton
Away vs Napoli
Away vs Us
Home vs Chelsea

I think after those we will surely see if they have the credentials to win the league, especially with having the tricky away CL tie in the middle

I think we do well to take between 4-6 points from those fixtures. As mentioned Everton is in form, but that looks like our likeliest chance of a win, keep in mind we have punctured in form teams before - Liverpool and Southampton for example - when they came to the Emirates. Napoli away is a difficult proposition, I'm curious to see how well we can soak up pressure there, would do well to take a point. Similiarly at the Etihad I think the key will be how well we can soak up pressure, although you guys are rampant at home so I don't think we'll get anything from that one, especially now that you have Kompany back. Chelsea at home is a match we have to take something from, if not a win then at least a draw. To keep momentum going though we would have to win that. Things are heating up.

The thing about the way we play though is that by having a four man midfield, we concede more possession to the opposition, but we are getting pretty deadly in attack
Look at the united and spurs games at the Etihad. Both had equal if not more possession, yet we battered them
With Arsenal's strong and excellent midfield, don't write off your chances. Look at what Bayern M did to us, by having the extra man in there

We won at Dortmund not by really dominating the midfield but by hunkering down, just about weathering their storm and then being clinically efficient with the couple chances we made at their end. I'm curious to see whether we'll follow that same kind of approach in Napoli and if it works their, it would seem to be a fairly effective strategy to use when going to tough away grounds. At home we like to burst out of the blocks and try to score early, but considering how potent your attack is I don't know if that would be the best plan at the Etihad. I think we have more of a chance if we cede possession and hope that you take initiative, since you are playing at home, and then maybe try to pull a Dortmund. Still can't see it though. Bayern may have done that to you with the help of an extra man in there, but they are on another planet at the moment.

Crikey!! If you try that at our place it'll be an incredible first ten minutes because that's what we've been doing

yeh, Bayern have the best midfield in the world; Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Ribery, Robben, Martinez. Arsenal's is good but not that good.

Arsenal take corporate box holder to court after £375,000 bust-up over unsliced bread

Arsenal are suing a corporate box holder at the Emirates Stadium for £375,000 after an alleged bust up over unsliced bread.
The Premier League leaders have launched a High Court writ against Capstone Sports Management amid claims it stopped paying for executive seats after Arsenal staff refused to slice bread the company’s guests had brought into the box.
Gunners staff were also allegedly ‘reprimanded’ after guests in Box 48 were allowed to order in their own packed lunch for a match in December 2011.

Executive boxes at the Emirates start from £86,400 a season and promise guests ‘the ultimate VIP hospitality experience… watching football being played the Arsenal way’.
It is claimed Capstone, founded in 2007 by barrister Samuel Okoronkwo, was due to pay £465,000 in instalments for its box until 2016 but stopped paying in April 2012 after saying Arsenal has ‘promised…but failed to take any proper action’ over the sandwich incident.

The club says it received a letter from Capstone’s lawyers stating the company had stopped payments because the club had ‘promised… but failed to take any proper action’ about the packed lunch incident that took place during a match in December 2011.
Capstone denies Arsenal’s claims, while Arsenal’s lawyers refute the service provided ‘was deliberately compromised’ or that it ‘failed to take any proper action in relation to Capstone’s complaint’.

A club spokesman said Arsenal would make no further comment as court proceedings are on-going.

Thought this was quite funny. But prices starting from £86,400, jesus. FFP of course, the word fair in that.

Arsenal will beat Everton because Arsenal are rested after coasting to an easy win against Hull in 2nd gear, whilst EFC had a very big game against Utd.

How many times in recent seasons have you seen Moyes Everton raise their game against City, and then crash the following game?

I'm afraid players like barry, and Barkley who dominated the Man Utd midfield will get totally bypassed at the Emirates. They are on a different level to EFC.

However, EFC have an extra days rest, will be confident and Arsenal have to think about Napoli in midweek. And football is not a science. That said, I am expecting Arsenal to win by at least 2 clear goals. The old-style Moyes EFC would have a better chance at the Emirates, but this EFC will try and play them, and they are not good enough to do so yet. However long term its the way to go.

That is a very tough list, and if they picked up full points from that even I'd be a convert, but it was never the big games at this stage I saw them dropping points. Mid winter, underestimate a couple of the away days to smaller teams, rack up a few draws, pressure mounts.. Basically what happened to us in our title season. We came back against all odds, but many things had to align for that to happen and we were only up against one side. They're going to have Chelsea and us.
