Villa did not park the bus!!! Even during the Spare time!!!. But against City they will. Arsenal third goal was luck. I have not seen a similar goal for long time.
Looked like the player was in direct eye line and may have looked to have gone for the ballwell they got the 2 VAR points back with that own goal that should have been offside
I watched two of the Europa League games. No first teamer started in one game and just one started in the other game. Thus, I am not so sure they will commit to taking risks with first teamers. I guess we will soon see
Odegaard makes it all happen. Stop him and Arsenal lose 20% of their effectiveness. Probably PL player of the year.
We've had to do that too plenty of times after a UCL game on a Wednesday night.
If you play Thursday you don't get a 12.30 ko on a Sunday.
The difference is we just get on with it whereas Arteta whines and whinges about it to anyone who will listen.
Agree, Villa had a number of chances to finish them off, even though Arsenal had much more possession. I thought they deserved a point from the game. They have got some of their belief back but still have to manage European competition as well as their title challenge, and all their problems from Wednesday night haven't disappeared either. Any better side than Villa would have really punished them.
I don't think many of you would be too upset if Arsenal went out of the EL at this stage. You’re right…we will play the kids in the EL
