Certainly at the fee Brighton were demanding.
What Chelsea paid for him was crazy. He'd had one decent season for Brighton. Now; no disrespect intended to Brighton. They're a decent team, as they've proved this season. They were excellent under Potter last time out. But standards/expectations at the Amex wouldn't be the same as they would be at a so called "top 6" club. And he's been underwhelming so far this season. Would he have been better under Pep's management? Who knows, there's no guarantees. But 60-odd million for him was ridiculous. Fair play to Tony Bloom, mind; he played a blinder in extracting the fee he did out of Chelsea.

Yep but his work rate got them that win if they lose him for any length of time they’ll drop points..
Forest game aside, they've only managed to score 1 goal in each of their last 6 games, which seems to coincide with Jesus not scoring

He'll need to start scoring goals again for them as December and January come at you fast, and points will start being dropped once the pressure heats up

If we get down to the final 8 games and they are still ahead, then it’ll be fascinating to see how they handle being hunted down. We’ve done it a fair few times and sides have cracked. If we are still within touching distance and they ride it out then fair play.

I’d much rather be in a title race with Arsenal than the rags or the dippers.

This Arsenal side remind me a lot of our side when we had Sane (Martinelli) and Raheem (Saka) on the wings and really went at sides with pace. It’s evident Arteta has picked up a lot from Pep, the influence is there for everyone to see.

But he never hides and works his socks off, something I can not say about another of our ex-players.
exactly, he was really good yesterday, running on players, pressing staff of the highest order ... Raheem on the other hand ...
