Edu's influence has been diminished since then with Tim 'no handshakes' Lewis gaining more clout behind the scenes. Edu apparently wanted the CEO role.

We beat them in closing that gap so knowing that we had the opportunity to close the gap by beating them it was only ever really a 5 point swing we needed, still a bottlejob but not on Arsenals scale.
