Do you think autism plays a part in the depression or is it the tablets I have a young relation with autism18yrs old I never suspected any problems until his mum said he wanted to die he’s highly intelligent yet doesn’t want to get up. She literally has to drag him out of bed and take him to college
He loves music especially the old bands like Oasis Stone Roses, he doesn’t have any friend but relates to his parents

Having someone to get you up in a morning otherwise you lie their dreaming and dreading the daytime, we used to have a thread on ADHD/autism is on the spectrum I’ll see if I can find it. Xx

It's still used and is nothing like One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest.
They've upped my antidepressant dose recently so that will help , I hope.
I have a few options at the moment so it's not a lost cause.
Help and assistance from relatives mainly,
My real problem is getting up out of bed. The medication makes me sleepy so I sleep more than normal but when i wake I get this terrible anxiety as if I'm being punished for being lazy when it's nothing to do with laziness. I've also started to detest going outside during the day especially if it's not sunny. It feels like some kind of breakdown,.
I've had one before and was hospitalised for five days but had nothing like that kind of mental turmoil in the eight years since, until now.

It’s incredible isn’t. They want the vote on something that most of them are unlikely to have any experience of, yet they allowed the general population to vote on something that they knew absolutely nothing about.

I’m sure if they put this to the public it would be a resounding yes.
