Could have used these guys in their team today. Shocking performance.

They didn't feature at all?

Re: Assulin and Razak gone to Brighton on loan

Probably fair enough, it's a huge tie for the other Brighton lads and it's them rather than our loanees that earnt the tie and therefore deserve to play in it.

Am sure we'll see our boys feature in the next match.

FWIW Razak's loan is 3 months, Assulin 1 month with option to extend.

Is Assulin permacrock or something, didn't an earlier loan get cancelled on physio advice (Barnsley?) - I know he's had his problems in the past.

Re: Assulin and Razak gone to Brighton on loan

Only a matter of time until Assulin is moved on for a tidy profit now, IMO.

Not too sure about Razak as Mancini seems to rate him.

What's the latest on Johnson?

Re: Assulin and Razak gone to Brighton on loan

I hope we did a swap for Dunk and Bridcutt. Could do with them to shore up our defence for the run in :)

Re: Assulin and Razak gone to Brighton on loan

Sky Sports understands Wolves have asked Brighton permission to speak to their manager Gus Poyet

I wonder how this might affect Razak and Assulin if Poyet moves, as he took them to Brighton believing they could fit his quite technical system.

When Sven left Leicester, M. Johnson was basically frozen out right away and was training with us the other day, so not sure if he's even still at Leicester.

Re: Assulin and Razak gone to Brighton on loan

Was going to post the same thing, terrible news if true.

A comparable recent example would be Macheda going to QPR before Warnock getting sacked (who then bought another 2 strikers)

Thankfully with the window closed, they should still get opportunities hopefully.

-- Mon Feb 20, 2012 7:36 pm --

From Twitter:
