As they should, he is a fantastic talent and that's why Mancini has kept him close to the first team. The question is HOW good can he get as our standards are ridiculously high now.

Nice to read that, any one think he will be around the first team next season?

Razak MOTM today against Ipswich. Received a standing ovation when he was substituted.

These are highlights from Razak's debut (wednesday):
Skip to 0:10 and then 0:32

Nice:

"At one point, he fell over, seemingly losing control of the ball, but got up , kept hold of it under severe pressure, beat about 3 or 4 players, and then pinged a perfect pass out to the left wing.

In general, he was just impossible to get the ball off. His passing was unbelievable. Incredible performance."

and

"Match Ratings - Ipswich (H)

Peter Brezovan - 7

Gonzalo Jara Reyes - 7.5
Adam El-Abd - 9
Gordon Greer - 9.5
Joe Mattock - 6.5

William Buckley - 8
Liam Bridcutt - 8
Abdul Razak - 9
Alan Navarro - 8
Ashley Barnes - 8

Craig Mackail-Smith - 8"

And more praise:

Indeed, I honestly think he will be the difference between making the play off's and not making them !

And a song suggestion:

Posh spice is a slapper,
She takes takes it from the back,
and when she's shagging Beckham,
She thinks of our Razak

Re: Assulin and Razak gone to Brighton on loan

He was MOTM today btw.

Best bits in my opinion from that Brighton forum:

Abdul Razak was so good....
It was scary !!

That cross field ball with the outside of his foot was flair-tastic

Can't believe he is not playing first team football with a prem side. We are lucky to have him. He was fantastic.

Some of his cross field balls were the best passes seen at the Amex thus far.

Unbelievable player - the sheer composure on the ball, the vision of where his team mates are, the positioning - did anyone else notice how Navarro upped his game today whilst being sat alongside him :-)

At one point, he fell over, seemingly losing control of the ball, but got up , kept hold of it under severe pressure, beat about 3 or 4 players, and then pinged a perfect pass out to the left wing.

My god, what a midfield performance today?! The boy has everything:- distribution, power, good (both) feet, power, creativity, postional sense!

I was watching the Man City game after, you can clearly see how Man City and Razak are moding him into the next Yaya Toure. Razak could easily slot into that midfield in two seasons(minimum) time.

Re: Assulin and Razak gone to Brighton on loan

Hopefully he will have a future here. And i really think he will. If not a starter then as a rotated midfielder hopefully.

Think he will spend next season on loan somewhere and after that i would expect him to play for City.

Re: Assulin and Razak gone to Brighton on loan

A word or two for Gai also......

'How good was Gai Asulin when he came on? His first touch was incredible. I know we're all raving about Razak and rightly so, outstanding, but for me Gai displayed a class of vision & movement that we have probably have never seen wearing the famous stripes'
