Wolves need to fuck off back to the Championship with their songs.

It stinks of small club chants that they all sing in the lower leagues.

It’s not so long ago that we were rolling up to play the top teams away and fully expecting to be well beaten but we never acted like a non league club on an fa cup 3rd rd away day. It’s embarrassing.

Well 3 points but wasteful again,the Fernandinho red card means he misses the league cup game which he probably wouldn’t have played in anyhow,but yet grealish after his yellow in first half continued fouling without getting a second yellow,piss poor ref simple as that ..

Aston Villa had 20 touches in our third of the pitch in the first half.

They parked the bus.

I commented on the match day thread that Villa were only prepared to engage us once the ball the crossed the half way line. At one time we were playing the ball square across our back four just outside our area and the closest Villa player actually turned and retreated to the half way line.
Maybe not bus parking in the Newcastle sense but pretty close.

At the time I thought it was stupid by Fernandinho but when I saw the replay I don’t think it was even a foul.

It was a typical Fernandinho stop play foul. he is the master at them but usually when he hasn’t been booked.

Thought Villa were decent.
City were great in the second half bar the stupid sending off.
Motm for me Gundogan.Far better in that role than an attacking player as proved last season.
Great cameo by Phil.Hope he gets more.
The early leavers were a disgrace today for a 12
30 kick off.
Never moaned before but that was the worst I have seen it.

Honestly, and this isn’t blue tinted glasses, when I saw the replay I actually thought Ferna was held back and if anything he was fouled.

Doesn’t forgive the brain dead tackle on Grealish earlier. For a player of his experience he still gets those rushes of blood to the head.
