The game was live on national TV. The rags and Scousers spent decades building up a national and international fan base to get to the point where they can sell out games like this.kwm1988 said:Its embarrassing as a fan to see that attendance tonight it seems its getting worse and worse every season I don't understand it 38 000 for a champions league tie against roma something isnt right
Why Always Ste said:ped said:people watching on tv complaining about the noise, just fuck off .,I was in the family stand and I got to say the people in the singing section gave as good as they got, well done guys, the atsmosphere was fine,ok not bouncing but no better or no worse than expected, and by the way stop blaming "day trippers ,tourists,a least they go,
Eh?
I go all over this country watching City. I've been over Europe watching City.
if I want to moan about why I didn't go tonight because of the daytripping cinema like experience, I'll fucking moan.
I'm not spending £35 on top of my season ticket or whatever the fuck it is to sit there with my hands under my backside bored out of my mind sat beside some randomer.
and if I stand up to cheer I get these c**ts taking pics of me celebrating.... I mean WTF?
No Chumps League for me thanks. waste your hard earned.

Might change with the layout of the new stands. Why Always Ste said:oh as for this opinion of - you should go to the game, or you don't have an opinion.
So someone who goes to one game a season has more of an opinion than someone who may go to 40+ games a season, home and away.
I knew what the atmosphere was like tonight before the match even started because I've been to many Chumps league matches at our stadium, which is why I no longer go to them as the matchday experience is shit and not for me.
We urgently need a singing section, safe standing included.
it would be even better if everyone boycotted this matches - it might then give the business men at city a kick up the ass and they might just then start listening to fans rather than these pathetic shitty surveys on city-voice.
For a few years now we've cried out for a singing section. we want to improve atmosphere. we want cheaper tickets.
Will the club oblige?
if they can make a few quid out of it only then will they listen.
I'll voice my opinion on this club as much as I want.
Agreed, the clubs has the perfect opportunity to do something about this in the summer.
They handle the expansion correctly and who knows we may be able to recreate an atmosphere like we had at Hull for every home game!
