Attacks in Paris

It is a fact though that if you allow Muslims to enter the country a percentage of them will cause trouble, if the Middle East and North Africa is a hot bed of nutters allowing them access to Europe will bring problems, the liberals won't admit this because people deaths are less important than there ideology
Of course it's true that there will be evil in every group of people, but the fact there may be doesn't justify doing nothing. Is that liberals as in the enemy of ISIS those who support the world ISIS oppose?

Speaking in Paris on Saturday evening, Mr Molins told reporters: "We can say at this stage of the investigation there were probably three co-ordinated teams of terrorists behind this barbaric act."

He also confirmed that one of the dead attackers had been identified as a 30-year-old Frenchman who had a criminal record but had never spent time in jail.

The man came from the town of Courcouronnes, 25km (15 miles) west of Paris. He had been identified by the security services as having been radicalised but had never been implicated in a counter-terrorism investigation.

Mr Molins said all seven militants had used Kalashnikov assault rifles and the same type of explosive vests

He also gave details about the state of the investigation, which he said was at a very early stage.

He said police were focusing on two vehicles. One was a black Seat used by gunmen at two of the attacks and still untraced.

The other is a black Volkswagen Polo with Belgian registration plates found at the concert venue that was targeted.

He said this had been rented to a Frenchman living in Belgium who was identified in a spot check by police on Friday morning as he drove across the Belgian border with two others.

The BBC's Hugh Schofield in Paris says investigators are working on the theory that these three may be another team of attackers who managed to flee the scene.

A Syrian passport was found next to the body of one of three suicide bombers who struck near the Stade de France stadium during Friday's game, Mr Molins said.

A Greek minister says the passport belonged to a Syrian refugee who passed through the island of Leros. An Egyptian passport has also been linked to the attacks.

Check the latest. Now two have been confirmed as coming through Greece as refugees.

No - just seen on BBC news that 2 passports have been found one from Syria. It also says somebody using a passport with that name on it came through Greece in October. You really have to learn how an investigation works, You join the dots you don't jump big gaps assuming those dots you have jumped all join up. As yet somebody on that passport came through Greece in October. There is nothing to say the dead guy at the scene was that same guy nor that either the dead man or the guy coming through Greece were the same person nor have they given a name yet. Listen to what they say and take baby steps with the rest of the rational world rather than try and jump from start to finish in one leap.

Jesus.

How was fascism defeated?

Europeans turned their backs on nationalism.

Not quite getting this are you?
Fascism was defeated when a large chunk of the world devoted the entire power of the states and their people every day for many years . It wasn't defeated either as a scourge of the far right still inhabits Europe waiting patiently to spread their hate and bring back the ideology that our grandparents fought.

What they need are "clean boots" i.e persons not known to the authorities people who can slip under the radar so to speak
Of course they do, but they won't be sneaking them in that way, the risk of them not getting to their target is too great.

They will always go for easy targets, clearly they think France as a country is one, and they will always go for the best method of delivery available, the gun and the suicide bomb.

We'll already be discussing beefing our security up even more, and we're ahead of the game already. It can't ever be completely stopped, just like we will never be able to negotiate with their leaders, they aren't interested, what we need to do is stop them recruiting in the first place, and I don't think the solution to that one will be found in bluemoon's off topic forum.
