Attending my first ever City game on 26th Oct

We are a friendly lot in Manchester and the City is very easy to walk round.

Unfortunately the town hall is closed for refurbishment but is a must if you come back when it re-opens.

The Shambles, the Cathedral, Rylands Library, Science Museum (oldest railway station in the world), Midland Hotel (of Rolls/Royce fame), Canal Street (gay quarter and Alan Turing statue), China Town, the canals etc etc.

Great city, great people and the Blues what more could you ask for.

P.S. - Avoid Stretford at all cost.

The Co-op Live would be a good shout for you mate, they are displaying the PL trophy, world club trophy and community shield on Wednesday night before the Sparta game ..

Was thinking of giving it a try myself, £5 entry but you get that back in a voucher to spend on ale or food..
Is it open for the Saints game? Haven’t seen any publicity for it.

I think its exciting after 20yrs following from afar you are coming over!!

I hope you have a great trip and we batter Southampton with a Haaland hatrick, a Foden goal with some spicy KDB assists and a Johnny Stones header for a treat!

Well said. Despite the state of Picc Gardens these days the rest of the city~centre is great. Lots of good places to eat and drink plus a great music scene. It’s a very popular location for away fans for starters.
