Aug 12th 2012....Your Club needs you !

How can anyone be annoyed that it went to General Sale? Our league games which always sell out go beyond Match Ticket Priority to General Sale with approximately 8,000 tickets to sell. We've had about 13,500 tickets to sell for the Shield which in the eyes of many is less important than a typical league game. With that said our Shield allocation is very close to sold out anyway unless the ticket site is holding more back which doesn't look likely now as they're down to two categories.

Looking forward to it myself, a trophy is a trophy and adds one more to our trophy cabinet which has been dusted off again! Going on a Mayne coach myself.

it's a difficult one, if it was cheaper it would sell instantly, for a family to pay 160 quid in tickets for essentially a friendly is asking a lot.

still up to 20k city fans on the piss, celebrating the title will be a good day out, i just wish football had more compassion for all fans.

It is disappointing that with the number of season card holders and other match priority ticket card holders we have that more than half can’t be bothered. Bet if we get to another final this year they will be first in the que!

I am going to this but it never ceases to amaze me how certain people have the inability to realise that it is becoming too fucking expensive for the average fan to keep shelling out for games.

Unless of course you are one of these middle class bastards we have inherited over the last five years.

As you are going to the game are you one of these middle class bastards we have inherited over the last 5 years????

Always thought that there was only one kind of bastard - Rag bastard! There are other classes of bastard, eh?

It's less important than the first round of the League Cup, considerably!

More will choose what away games they will go to. Money is tight. I'm going but will be cutting home games this season as I will have to take a pay cut of £100 from next month.

As for a final? Take 2010. Not able to get ticket for Leicester & Notts County away (Blue member) but went to Leicester reply att 27755 (6000 away fans), Notts County att 27276 (5000 away fans), Villa att 25570 (3000 away fans) & Reading att 39133 (5000 away fans) but couldn't get ticket for Semi & Final.

Its just too expensive and I have just worked flat out to scrimp the money together for 2 season tickets. I also have FA cup and euro games to fork out for.
