What would you rather a 23 year old with 5 years experience in the one position from La Liga at 100-120k per week or a 30 year old mercenary who will only get up the goat of younger players or the players at on lower wages at Manure?

No brainer its the former and don't those in charge at Manure know it.

Within 3 years we will go from the second oldest playing list to the youngest or near there of while Manure head in the other direction.

All Manure have done this week is ensure they will have a bigger payout on their hands when Rashford, Pogba , Martial etc want out or larger pay packets and have a bigger payout when Mou throws out his toys in year 3 if not sooner.

We'll need a proper left-back and another centre-half next season as well. Much as I admire their respective talents, we cannot rely on VK or afford makeshifts in a key position.
Moreover, if we only needed a support striker, what would become of the transfer forum this summer? It would be a very dull place indeed. ;-)

We only need another striker and maybe a left back if we get Fred and Laporte either in this window or the next assuming we only lose Mangala and Yaya.

Maybe, just think we could do with another centre-half, though I suspect Fernandinho may occasionally drop back and fill that gap in the next two seasons.

Walker can as well if absolutely necessary.

We need Delph in the holding position once Mendy is back and another player who can pressure him in that position as well , a better crosser of the ball than Walker and Danny to be fair.
 
I think Pablo Maffeo is doing well in El Girona and he is gaining a lot of good credit and recognition, thus, I believe he should be with the team next year for selection.

Summer Transfer window is one of the best times on bluemoon for sure. but i dont agree with requiring another cb when vinny will be the 4th available option becuase most of the times we would only require 2 , i would rather see Tosin being that option. As for the delph and zin are decent backup options and we should only go for lb when fred, laporte and possibly another striker is signed

I think the club will, alas, have to draw a line under Kompany's playing career at the end of this season, and as much as I admire Delph and Zinchenko, neither is a left back, and better teams will target both as we enter the business end of the season. Laporte, hopefully, can offer another option until Mendy recovers, but I see it is an issue that will need addressing in the summer.
