What a moronic post!

Both products you mention are legal and controlled. Theses dickheads took ecstacy.
As I said Darwin candidates, the gene pool won't miss them.

What an absolute fuckwit you are.
BTW, I can almost guarantee that your children have tried some illegal drug, maybe not ecstasy, but an illegal drug of some kind.

Someone mentioned that you used to be a teacher, I hope not, I would hate to share a profession with a dickhead like you.

Looking at some the replies here, you are proving him right and btw this is a forum and people have every right to express their opinions, ok you don't like his opinion that's fine but there's no need for the name calling, you just weaken your own position.

None of you know for sure that his children have or ever will touch drugs, I too have raised my kids properly IMHO but I'm pretty sure they have all tried something apart from the 12 year old, all we can do is teach them and let them go, there are some lessons in life we can't teach they need to go out there and find out for themselves.

Speaking as someone who has lost a child in the past. ( not drug related) I sympathise with the families, but the fact remains if they hadn't taken the pills they would still be alive..........

I'd normally be in agreement with you mate. I pride myself on never getting worked up enough about what a complete stranger on the internet has got to say, to resort to insults. But I'll admit this fella came close and I don't particularly blame anybody who couldn't resist giving him their opinion on what they think of him.

It isn't just his opinion that's offensive. But even after seeing the reaction it caused, instead of leaving it at that or even apologising for any offence caused, he decides to bounce back, repeating his nonsense.

Even if he actually believes the shite he came out with, would a normal person not realise how sensitive a subject it is to a lot of people and keep it to themselves?

It's like someone with strong opinions on dangerous driving jumping on a thread about someone killed in a car crash and telling everyone who has had a friend or relative killed in such circumstances, whilst being at fault driving, that they deserved it and won't be missed.

Yeah I know what you mean too, but some of the ones slagging him off for having an opinion opposed to their own (because it's a sensitive subject to them) have given insensitive opinions and jokes about many subject that others find offensive even if they don't i.e. Rape, Gay people, smashing various back doors in etc etc.

I suspect some of them are defending the "scene" so they look like they are in the "scene" and cool etc but that's their call, at the end of the day as you say it's an Internet forum and even with the occasional meet up very few of us really know many others on here......

Just a devils advocate throw in here.

If you made ecstasy legal, do you think it would carry the same thrill or maybe draw is the more appropriate word as it is now. The truth is, in my eyes, is that people, especially the youth want to something illegal, against what is considered acceptable. That's part of it. To do something not accepted. If you are doing something the prime minister or queen could do its just not the same. Legalise it and it will just move on to something else that isn't legal.
The people I know that take ecstasy, take it because it makes you feel amazing. Not because it feels taboo or naughty.

Man dies and five taken ill after event at Warehouse Project

The people were all attending the Warehouse Project on Trafford Wharf Road

Police are investigating whether a "bad batch of drugs" caused the death of a man who collapsed at Manchester's Warehouse Project.

Officers were called to Manchester Royal Infirmary in the early hours following the death of the 30-year-old.

Five other people attending the Trafford Wharf Road venue were taken to hospital after taking a drug, thought to be ecstasy, police said.

They are currently being assessed and treated by hospital staff.

Det Insp Aaron Duggan said: "We have now launched an investigation to establish the circumstances leading up to his death.

"It is possible that there may be a particularly bad batch of drugs out there in the community and that is a concern to us.

"If you attended the Warehouse Project last night and are feeling unwell, I would ask you to go to hospital for a check up as soon as possible."

You are just showing how out of touch you are (and having met you, I'll vouch for you being out of touch).

No one, other than older people with no clue, thinks any "scene" is particularly "cool". Do you think you are cool when having a beer or a fag? It is exactly the same thing. Drugs are not cool in any way, but the right one in the right venue and a good night becomes one of the best times of your life.

Drugs are really uncool, but they are responsible for the best nights out ive ever had..

kneeling in front of a folded down loo seat with and old fiver rammed up yer bugle sniffing cocaine has got to be the most uncool thing in the world:)
