I suspect some of them are defending the "scene" so they look like they are in the "scene" and cool etc but that's their call, at the end of the day as you say it's an Internet forum and even with the occasional meet up very few of us really know many others on here......

You are just showing how out of touch you are (and having met you, I'll vouch for you being out of touch).

No one, other than older people with no clue, thinks any "scene" is particularly "cool". Do you think you are cool when having a beer or a fag? It is exactly the same thing. Drugs are not cool in any way, but the right one in the right venue and a good night becomes one of the best times of your life.

Drugs are really uncool, but they are responsible for the best nights out ive ever had..

I'm a 41 year old bloke with a bit of a beer gut and receding hair so I'm certainly not cool or scene and I'd happily say acid, E and coke and been partly responsible for some of the best nights of my life.

Drugs aren't going away so as a parent I'd like to find a way of making it safer.

Legalise and control it

It stops my great uncle dying because he was robbed at the age of 84 for his pension by smack heads. On the flip side one of my school friends nearly died because it was a different batch (smack).

It makes sense
A) robbery would reduce
B) get rid of the pushers
C) earn tax
D) stabalise / control the "dose"



People will want to get high regardless.

seems to be a kid that was caught selling pills , who necked them when caught by the door staff .


The Goverments around the world are testing MDMA , To see if it is a cure for post dramatic stress disorder , earlier trials were successful but there was a backlash in the press so they stopped trialing it in the mainstream . Early signs point to it being the next cure for depression , anxiety ( anyone that has ever taken it in its purest for must be rolling there eyes right now, :) ) as it helps the brain in the production of serotonin which makes humans feel good and helps build the chain in oxytocin the chemical in the brain that helps you to bond with strangers . Lets hope it helps the soldiers coming back from war torn countries with bits missing to settle back into civvy life . Positive vibrations people .


hope the people that are in hospital improve , its a harsh enough lesson to learn without becoming ill in any shape or form .

Exactly . People take drugs to enhance the moment ,may it be in a nightclub or rave , at the pub , in the cinema ,theatre or any of the other Arts , even just making a connection with friends or a lover in your own home , or at the football :)
