When else would you use 'I'?

;o)
Well three off the top of my head:
  • When referring to the chemical element iodene.
  • When using the symbol for 1 in Roman numerals.
  • When wanting to use the correct symbol for electric current in a formula.

Hahaha - fair enough. ;o)

Don't you feel silly conversing with a robot?

Having looked at the replays many times over, I have finally made my opinion (and only my own opinion) that it was unintentional.

The key to it in my view is that his left leg was also off the ground. Lee Dixon commented on this on MOTD2. I know he's going to side with City but I thought I would bear in mind his comments and make a decision of my own either way.

Lee is totally correct in my opinion and I'm saying this with a totally unbiased view.

The critical issue which the FA do need to look at before making a decision is that his left leg is indeed in the air and it is almost impossible to stamp on someone intentionally without a foot on the floor.

At first I thought yes, it was a stamp but having watched it several times, I think Lee Dixon makes a very good and valid point.

As I said, this is only my opinion and I'm sure the debate will continue and some people are welcome to agree or disagree.

I don't think it was deliberate either. It would have been easier for Mario to have continued to stamp on his hand if he'd have meant to hurt him. Mario is innocent.

Re: Balotelli Stamp V Spurs

Everbody ..after me 1,2,3 jump in the air and twist and slighty arch your back and put your right foot down first in FRONT of you..

cant be done..

Hansen says its not a natural movement...dickhead..of couse it is.

Right then Bluemooners heres the thing... in a split second whilst spinning with two feet off the ground and being shoved by modric balotelli decides to stamp on Parkers head...not a full on full weight stamp that would have caused serious injury but a glancing blow to let him know he was there..all this whilst his back was turned and the whole episode lasting less than a second..

Now c'mon....think about it... Really!!

....guilty as (not yet) charged - hang him!, burn him!, drown him!

I'm against hanging.

Definitely BURN him and DROWN him though.

At the same time. ;o)

I have looked at it many times now and have wanted it to appear accidental but it ain't. Mario sticks his right leg backwards by about 2 ft towards Parkers general direction. The natural thing to do when stumbling is put your leg forward and there doesn't seem to be a reason why he couldn't do that. He then throws himself to the floor a bit theatrically. To me he instantly regrets what he has done and goes over to Parker. He was getting frustrated in the game because he was losing the ball having shots blocked and I could see this coming. The red mist just descended for a fraction of a second as it is always liable to do with him.

Prepare for World War 3

Look what I found several pages back.......;o)

...I'm not going to post in this particular thread again its pathetic...

Already been covered by SWP's back.

I was leaving, but then I realised how quickly my day at work is now going!

I may even partake in Tuesday's "The FA are corrupt/Media Witchhunt" thread

Dont get involved with that because that brings about the "AGENDA" thread and then we go into meltdown

Re: Balotelli Stamp V Spurs

Years ago, when I used to be a member of the Coventry Poly Parachute club, jumping at Long Marsden Airfield near Stratford, we always used to laugh at first-timers, whose legs would kick uncontrollably, instinctively trying to find solid ground. I think it's the same with people being hung on the gallows.

Point being, the lad is on one leg, falling backwards, being pushed by another player.
Why don't you try standing one leg, get someone to push you backwards, and see how much control you have.

NONE.
