Pretty sure the settlement was made so that City get rid of Mario.

The only thing I'm irked at is that Mancini didn't sell him when his value was at it's highest point.

I would have pulled that trigger and bought another striker. When running anything successful, you cannot be sentimental about cutting off useless weight.

Thats what i'm hoping......

Settled simply so the path is clear for him to leave,i'm pretty sure any sort of contract dispute would have scuppered a potential move to any club daft enough to take him.

What makes you "pretty sure"......?

The fact that you just conjured the idea up?

Now to pray AC Milan will give us a way out like with Robinho
Quoted for emphasis
AC Milan have much lower sights these days unless we sell Balo for a handjob off Belusconi he wont be going there

I cannot believe that this thread comes off the back of someone saying they were fed up with Dzeko getting grief, look at the legs it has.
12 months ago when he was knocking them in we all loved him. Apart from getting sent off after being a tool v Arsenal and being bang out of form this season im struggling to see what else he has done really to annoy everyone so much
Dzeko is far more wank then him and he seems to get away with it now
Fickle jockeys of highest order

Who would you bring on when you needed to win a game mario or dzeko

It is reported that they have removed Pato merchandise from there club shop, as they did with Ibrahimovic and Silva just prior to there departure. Now I know he's been linked with a move back to Brazil that he favours ready for the W/C, but there were rumblings of a potential swap deal as well involving Mario ? I am yet to decide how I would feel about this were there any truth in it.

Not the best of examples to use in your argument when a certain Mr. Dzeko has won City a number of points this season already.

Here's a revolutionary idea, erm, don't slag off either Dzeko or Balotelli. Right out of left field I know.
Couldn't agree more. I absolutely cannot believe the amount of bile thrown at our own players on here. I don't mind a bit of criticism when it is deserved, but the amount that gets thrown at the players and the manager is shocking. You wouldn't think we'd just won the league, on the back of the FA Cup the season before.

Thought the same thing. If you believe Milan fans, Pato has consistency problems like Balotelli. Misses a lot of games due to injury too.
