If he had scored a hattrick against the rags some on here would still have been pissed off because one waas a penalty, or one was deflected, or one was when he was off balance.

He will never change some peoples minds no matter what he does.

I think consistency would change many minds.

If he has a consistent run of form like did last season where he scored in like 7 starts in a row Im sure most would love him again but for probably over a year now when he has started hes been dire and the odd goal against Blackburn or Wigan isn't going to change my opinion on him. I will always support him at matches though.

What's the question mark for? You asked why did we play so much better when he went off, so I pointed out that we played just as well if not better in the first 15 minutes when he was on the pitch.
And then played utter shite for the next 30, so your statement makes no sense.

sorry mate but to me its like you take the word of jamie redknapp as law.

Bollox,i'm convinced some of you revel in the victim tag......

I can only speak for myself but i want nothing more than for him to come good and display consistently the immense talent he allegedly has.

Consistency would change some peoples minds (including my own). But when you see how people are prepared to disregard the good parts of his game, and use any excuse to do so you know that even consistency won't be enough for some.

-- Thu Dec 20, 2012 7:17 pm --

So the redknapps hate campaign has worked, I've seen loads this season do what ballos done, elbow on tevez by collochini same as ballos if not worse at Liverpool ,Charlie fkn Adams twice in bale disgusting, the stamp by esso ekotto on a Wigan player worse than ballos on Parker Ho by the way redknapp did not see that him or his silver spoon faced son, for me the hate against the lad is absolutely disgusting born out of one mans bitterness because he refused to sign for him! He got the hate going and it has festered and stewed to the extent even into the Bluemoon site. Two of the sendings off were by atkjnson yes Atkinson the man if i can call him that who makes is own rules up where man city are concerned their are worse out there but they don't play for man city who are the press and redknapps enemy no 1. Some of the venom on here is way over the top and I am finding it hard to comprehend I will ask you this if ballo had signed for the scum do you think this would be happening no because the press are the propaganda tool.
Spot on

He is judged very harshly and unfairly target by the media. And the majority of the British media is right wing and still fundamentally suspicious of confident foreigners.

Watch Match of the Day, they crucify Balotelli, even when he doesn't play! And we all know MOTD is the most watched football show in England.

He even received abuse when he destroyed Germany in the euro's semi. What does that tell you?

He scored two goals and Hansen and Shearer called him 'useless'. He receives a level of criticism suffered by no other footballer in the country. The real problem is that he is 22 and has never played very regular club football, Yet he is judged?

He should starts every week and develops his game. at City it is too stop/start to learn from his mistakes. Mancini has handled him badly in my opinion, that's all.

Balotelli has done ok this season & worked hard & people are being really unfair on him, including Mancini (perhaps due to this tribunal bollocks?) but the problem is, although he's trying, he isn't creating or scoring.

He has to do that if he's to be worth a place in the squad.

Has the rest of the season to make that breakthough or will have to go imo.

I hope he cracks it.

"Frustrating" is the word that came to mind every time I used to think of Balotelli. These days it's "Piss taker".
I used to be frustrated, because you can see the talent there. But more often than not it wasn't shown. If all the off field antics came hand in hand with match winning performances, I wouldn't have a problem. I work with lads who mess around all day, but are getting on with their work and get the job done. I also work with some lads who mess around all day, but fck all gets done. After a while it get frustrating, because you realise that the people who are working hard, are having to take up their slack. If it was the odd day, it wouldn't be so bad, but over time you realise they're just piss takers. It is not all about results either. Some lads don't achieve as much as others, but along as you can see them trying, it don't seem so bad.

My problem with Balotelli, is that he pisses about, gets fck all done and doesn't even care.
Walking straight down the tunnel when subbed, disappearing back home even when we win something, and his general lack of any sense that he loves the people who are paying his wages (us) doesn't endear himself to me. Where was he when we won the FA cup and the league? Even with all the problems we had with Tevez, he at least made the open top bus.

Bottom line....talented maybe, work shy definitely. My opinion, he doesn't give a shit, and he's a piss taker. I don't hate him, but he is taking up a place in the team for somebody else to take...

If you take away all the arguments and window dressing out of the equation, the debate becomes clear.

He has no intention of extending the remaining two years he has left with us next summer.

It purely has to become a business decision for City.

Errrrr, the thing you and the rest of the groupie's love harping on about each and every day he's been here.

But none of it is his own doing......oh no,not super Mario......!

I have no idea what you're talking about. But if you think I'm a Mario groupie it just shows how bitter you've become about him. Anyone that doesn't hate him must love him in your eyes it seems.

It would certainly seems that way by all the chatter, mate.

Mino is famous for how he moves his clients on, but it will still be interesting to see what Milan and possibly even Juventus, can put together in next few weeks.

You do surprise me re your timeframe for Mancini, unless a suitable replacement has already said yes, or Mancini knows he has another offer out there?

In all honesty where is the evidence that he is potentially one of the best players in the world? He's taking the piss and has been for quite some time now. Time to fuck him off and buy someone who might at least make a reasonable effort. Mancini needs to make up his mind and quick too, for he is as much to blame as Mario for fucking putting up with him so long. Guidetti being sent out on loan again so bobby obviously doesn't rate him and never has as far as I can see.
