Not sure I believe that Balotelli was a source of team dis-harmony. Sure, maybe nagging to take a free kick and the odd training ground spat, but he seemed like he got on with the lads in the Inside City videos, and they were genuinely sad to see him go.

I think the match right after he left (qpr away?) was the most boring and lifeless performance of the season, everyone seemed really down.
I hope he won't go to other england team, it will be sad to see him plays against city.

No way, I know quite a few big Milan supporters and it seems like his only good period was shortly after he arrived. Then he has one brilliant game now and then which is followed by 4-5 horrible ones. Apart from Nigel De Jong which they rank highly, they seem to feel robbed after buying Robinho and Balotelli from us.

Thanks for everything Balotelli and a wonderful 2011-2012 season, but we are on a different level now!

26 goals in 43 games is pretty decent.

He'd get even more goals if he was a in a top team.

Yet they seem happy tom sell.....

I watched a game with him in last season and he was awful but he then scored a screamer. Serious teams with serious ambitions in competitive leagues more than that. They need consistency(in terms of performance) and commitment, two attributes he lacks

I would love to see him at Chelsea. The guy is a talent. No doubt about that. His size/speed/skill could make him one of the top handful of players world wide. But despite having $100 million talent, the guy has a dime's worth of brains.

Potentially a very very good player. Totally mismanaged by our previous manager. Wenger could get the best out of him, Pelli would have worked wonders too

If the roles were reversed in that moment in 2012 I can guarantee he would have went down under the challenge unlike kun who was determined to stay on his feet and score. Would he have scored the spot kick? Guess we'll never know. We're way past him now anyway.

I agree Senor Pelegrini would have handled Mario better. For all his potential and my fondness of him (the kind you have for a cousin who Is a good bloke but a total fuck up) I hope he goes somewhere he can use his talent and potential. Thanks for the memories, Mario.

The lad has world class everything but brains. Sadly, those seem to be made of Play-Doh.
