Balotelli [MERGED]

I can't believe people are defending him because he might come good in about 5 years. Tje guy is a fcking loon and we don't need to pander to players like him anymore. Some people on here would defend him if he got sent off every game!

It was a red card. What was his foot doing that high and why did he the leave it in?

If it was his first offence maybe you could cut him some slack but it's not it's almost every game.

Re: City's job to sort Balo out as well as his own

Because the other one is full of complete tools talking 98% bollocks! This is more of a thead that's talking about City's job on turing Balotelli rather than Balo himself.

Fuckin hell not another City thread, there's loads of them on this forum!

How some people can say that it wasnt a straight red is fucking unbelievable. He flicked his foot into the player and racked him down the stomach, right in front of the liner. It was one of the most blatant reds Ive ever seen. Any sat in the CB could clearly see it was straight red. No one even argued. If someone had done that to a city player you would have gone ballistic

People have spent thousands watching City in Europe and Mr 15 grand in the glove compartment has treated those fans, the team, the tournament and the opponents with utter contempt. He's a ****.

Isnt it around about now that someone mentions how even the great Messiah Mournho couldnt handle him?

Balo is a fucking nutcase and I love him to bits!

Modern football is so commerical, safe and staid. Here is an unpredictable, unique genius who could equally produce a moment of greatness or spit his dummy out at any given moment.
An 'edge of your seat' player which is so rare these days.

Why would we want to relax and have everything all lovely and safe and non-threatening? I can have that watching snooker.

Wonder if this poster has altered his opinion in light of recent events...

This was posted a few weeks ago - I'm quoting it to highlight the idiocy and blind ignorance of many of our fans. He wasn't the only one posting shite like this.

The biggest disgrace I've ever seen wear the shirt. We've had some shitters in the past, but at least they didn't have the attitude of this retarded prick.

At the ground, I myself thought it was probably only a yellow, but you could see the intention and it was fucking stupid. Since watching it back, I've now seen it was a clear red and there is no defending it.

He's the only player I've seen at City as well who has been sent off and not receive applause from the ground, cos there was fuck all to applaud. All you could hear was "Fuck off Balotelli", "Get rid of him Bobby" and boos and even though I didn't do this, I totally agreed with them who did.

Since he played can anyone actually say he's done anything to justify the money we paid for him or the money we pay him? He's scored a few goals, mostly tap-ins and pens but apart from that, he's done nothing but walk round like he doesn't give a shit, get stupid bookings and red cards and fuck about and acts like the world owes him something.

I don't care if he's had a bad upbringing, so's Tevez, but everyone loves him cos he plays football the right way and put every bit of effort in that he can. I and I'm sure others have known people who haven't had the best of lives, doesn't mean they automatically become a **** though.

He could be the reason Mancini loses his job, whether that's a good thing, I don't know, but it's not right.

I'd hate to think what the other players think of him too, I think we know Tevez doesn't like him with the reaction he showed in Kiev shaking his head cos Balo had hayfever or whatever the fuck he was scared of. I reckon people like Silva, Nigel, Vinnie etc won't like him either, you can tell in their body language. I know which players I'd rather have.

To think we had a player like Bellers who would put it all in and is actually a better player and we got rid of him for this joker, unbelievable.

He lost us the game today and he will do it again and again. If he's anywhere near the pitch at Wembley, I fear the worst.

If my Balohat ever arrives, I might send the bugger back. (I kinda like the hat though).

good post couldnt agree more

Here Here ! Well said that man.

One ting is for sure, If Balo is still here next season Tevez won't be!

I agree, this would be lost on the other MB thread, and you make some really good points.

I for one don't to get rid of him, I feel that he can be a world beater and the senior members of the playing squad need to help him grow up.

I've been trying to think about this rationally and I keep coming to the same conclusion: Yes, he is talented but the fact is he has such a terrible attitude. One day he may be able to change that but we really can't wait for that to happen. He's become a liability, he obviously can score and score a lot, but at the same time he's got more cards then goals for crying out lout. I'm always worried he's just a second from getting sent off or doing something stupid, he doesn't work particularly hard, and it doesn't even seem like he cares about anything. I understand he comes from a terrible background and I sympathize with him, I really do, but that's not an excuse for his attitude now. I think that he's just another problem and distraction we're better of not dealing with at the moment. I'm not going to resort to calling him names or anything cause I don't know the guy but come on, based on his on field attitude, past problems, and interviews I've read with him it doesn't take a trained psychiatrist to tell he's a nut job and a liability to the team.

Re: The Mario Balotelli Appreciation Thread.

I appreciate Mario, as I have appreciated every misfit, deadbeat, useless prat that has donned a skyblue shirt.

He is the only player we have who frightens the shite out of the opposition. He doesn't know what he's gonna do next, so what chance has an oppo defence?

He's not had a dozen and a half games yet and the work the band of Carrington pychologists have pieced together has but scratched the surface.

Has anyone been booked yet for a foul on Mario? No wonder the lad thinks he's victimised.
