Balotelli [MERGED]

Rmember when Samaras got his shirt ripped in half by a flying stamp?

I think, if Balotelli was looking at the player when he did it, red card, if not, yellow and any other poor tackle and you're off.

Anyway, he's young, he's rich, he's famous, he's adopted, he's black, he will get better with age. Both ability and behavioural.

He just wants to be told, if you want a career at the top, you need to act like it, you can walk around like Morientes (who knoone seems to hate for being grumpy, but oh well) I don't care, but don't be a prick about it, cause if you keep on like this, you will go from worse club to worse club, until the only club that will put up with you cause they have no realistic chance of getting anyone near your ability will get you for maybe £8 million, maybe on a free, and you will never win anything and will be lucky to get paid half of what you get now. So, we all want you to do well, so do well and prove all the tossers that you can be a true pro.

This sort of incident can make or break a player. It made cantona at utd when he attacked the fan, ronaldo was another that was taken to task over hsi on the pitch antics (diving) and he stopped (to a certain extent) and certainly became a better player.

Its good to hear that the other players support him. He needs to settle down and listen to the likes of dejong, vierra kompnay tevez.

This could be the making of Balotelli.
He has apologised and sinncerely in my opinion. The incident is finished and in the past.

Utd fans have forgiven rooney for his antics in the transfer window we need to forgive Balotelli for his mistake and he needs to learn from it.

The lad has bags of talent and that is undeniable to anyone who has ever coached or watched a lot of football. He needs to grow up by in a few years IF he sorts himself out he will be one of the best in the world

Its time to forgive and forget everyone whats done is done and we will get nothing if we make continue to blast him for it

Glad to see him in the squad for today though i dont think he will play (or at least start anyway)

Lets hope plenty of toys are placed gently back into their prams.

Constant theme? Rubbish. His disciplinary problems are largely down to petulance and immaturity, not violent conduct. Did he deserve the red at WBA?

Honestly, if he wasn't our player I'd have the same opinion. It's been blown of proportion. Look at some of tackles Scholes has got away with down the years, look at Shearer, Rooney, the Skrtel one on Jo. And then look at Mario and tell me his 'tackle' the other night is worse than the things they've done. So bad that we are supposed to rip his contract up. i'm telling you mate, it's bollocks.

<a class="postlink" href="http://img78.imageshack.us/i/skrtellsb2.jpg/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://img78.imageshack.us/i/skrtellsb2.jpg/</a>

Pic won't load for some reason, but this is 10 times worse than Mario's and ddn't warrant a yellow from what I remember.

The challenge itself was more stupid and snide than dangerous, however, even though the cheating turd on the receiving end made the very most of it,the act deserved the outcome.

The constant theme comment was aimed at his general attitude, the above incident is one of many associated with his short time at the club - trouble follows him and unfortunately he is responsible for finding much of it.

I hope he does but i simply can't see him changing.

Yeah, you said it stupid rather than dangerous. As I've said mostly down to immaturity, but this he can improve. He will grow and learn that he cannot be so stupid. Let the press do the hand wringing, I'd rather hoped City fans would be more supportive and try to help the lad not hang him out to dry like the media hacks do.

I agree it probably was a red, but I do look at other tackles that go unpunished
and wonder why this is getting so much airtime, and the only conclusion I can come to is that it's the bad boy Mario Ballotelli and football killing Manchester City, they must both therefore be crucified. It's bollocks

I'm pretty confident all blues are prepared to support the lad, but it's near impossible to support someone who doesn't care. He needs to get his head down now and first prove to Mancini he wants to be here and wants to be a great player because the talent is there. This could be sort of an awakening for him hopefully.

we are city fans we are supposed to be loyal...... we forgive hime we move on he feels loved and turns out to be a great player for us....... i have seen people like ballotelli on normal walks of life.... they are insecure and like to test peoples loyalty. he was adopted and a lot of kids do that to see if there new parents will throw them out. we need to give him a bolliking let him know what he did was serious and then we put our arm around him. people always wonder why baconchops gets the best out of players it is down to his man management skills. yes he is difficult but we can do difficult. when he feels the love you will see his true talent!!!! the witch hunt is joke. a few past incidents to remind you this happens all the time
1. beckham world cup
2. cantona
3. keane for however many things
4. di canio
the list goes on !!! all were handled correctly all went on to be stars for their clubs

Has anybody looked into his reaction. I mean it's his thing not to go bananas when he scores ,i respect that. But when he got a red card, there is no emotion on his face. Seems to me he just doesn't fkin care.

But maybe it's just me.

I think it's just you. He went over to see how the exagerrating cheating **** was doing, what was he supposed to do, shed tears?

You've got a point mate but if you give me some time I'm sure I can get together a much bigger list of players who had bags of talent and fucked it up!

Doesn't matter if you support him or don't, only he and he alone can turn it around.

i 100% agree only he can do it..... but it will be much easier for him to accomplish it if we stand by him and let him know we are. in italy he was beasted from all sides i am not sure he know what it is like to be accepted.
