Hmm, the flying back to Italy could be a GOOD thing.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zone/2010/07/29/2047070/manchester-citys-negotiations-with-inter-for-mario-balotelli" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer ... -balotelli</a>

Mino Raiola, Balotelli's agent, and one of the player's lawyers have been speaking with City chiefs in Manchester throughout Thursday as they try to reach a rapid conclusion.

The presence of Balotelli's lawyer strongly suggests contracts could be rubber stamped by the end of play, and then Balotelli would have to put his own pen to paper.

Once an agreement is found over wages - previous reports suggested City were offering €3.8 million per annum - City directors will fly back to Milan with Raiola to close the deal on Inter's end, believed to be worth €30m plus bonuses.

Balotelli, City and Inter are all hoping the deal is closed soon, leaving Raiola to hasten the talks.

This is doing my head in.

Raiola is a pain in the arse.
Please, buy Mario or we can't start our deals =(

RAIOLA SHUT UP and let Mario sign!

If he doesn't sign, you don't get Mascherano basically.

Headline on football-italia:

Balo-City wages problem

Doesn't mean the wages are the problem though, just that the negotiations between the agent and City are the problem. So it could be wages/agents fee.

I would suspect that the agent is trying to screw us for additional money for his % cut.City have probably told him to fuck off in no uncertain terms.
This would mean in order too achieve a decent (for want of a better word) cut, that he would have to negotiate a higher salary and bonuses for Balo.
However is this one deal we should walk away from, or is is City who are cutting off their noses etc ??

I don't want Mascherano =(
But if he doesn't sign, we have no money to sign a player, no matter who. It's our new policy.

I hate Raiola.

Who said this twat of a agent is flying back to Italy. Has he said anything or is this media conjecture?

I think this is most likely, his current club is Inter so every thing will be finalised in Inter's H.Q. baring the Medical.
