I don't think that Barton himself is a complete tool, but he's badly advised. He really needed someone who cared about what was best for him early on in his career but he's been used by his 'trusted' agent again and again.
Sad he will have half a lifetime to look back and regret what could have been.

I never understand football fans, if i wasn't happy with the way my club was run then i wouldn't get a season ticket and watch the games on the TV. If there was a sudden 25,000 drop in season ticket sales then Ashley would be in the shit and he and his cronies would leave, but no they continue to moan about how their club is being run whilst giving them £500 a piece to continue running it.
Think of the investment Newcastle could attract if they were bought on the cheap, they are a potential regular top 4 club.
