Baseless speculation Iheanacho/Bony

So at the risk of losing £50m or more from failure to qualify for the CL we are playing Bony to maybe get £5m for him? Seems a bit silly that one!

Problem is in modern business is that CL money and transfer money are 'different pots'.

I feel that it's probably his word thing again, he almost fucked up Wembley with that as to be honest none of us or Pelli would have expected that performance form Willy.

I'd be more inclined to not play Bony, spin some shit about the Malaria flaring up and play Nacho. Giving Bony game time is reducing his value rather than putting him in the shop window. That being said the performance by him against the rags was one of his better this season but there wasn't much to improve upon.

I find the selection of bony easier to deal with if I assume mp is on crack and bony is his dealer. Either that, or bony has got pics of mp balls deep in a farm animal or something. Either of these make more sense than footballing reasons.

For cheap money I would have brought in Lennon.

The City Way is the pay huge fees for foreign journeymen. Witness the untold millions we've wasted on central defenders when Leicester are going to win the league with £1m Wes Morgan and Everton have £7m Stones.

It's another head scratcher from our managerial genius that's for sure. It'd be nice if we could be kept informed on his progress, or lack of it in this case but he has a habit of picking and choosing his times to be forthright with us.

I know many of us find it increasingly weird that MP seems to prefer Bony to Iheanacho. Some people here might say there is a very straightforward reason for this - that Manuel is a miserable, old, misguided, blind moron who should have been sacked a year ago.

Nevertheless, I was wondering why MP might do this, as I thought Kelechi's performances on the field seemed to add more to the team than Bony's. There are obviously more factors that determine selection than performance and fitness, notably attitude. Could that be the problem? In interviews, however, he always seems very focused - a model professional, imo. But you obviously can't always judge things from the outside.

The other possibility might be around the club's hierarchy: they know Iheanacho has a future at the club, so he has nothing to prove at this stage, but they want to give Bony a spell of games before the summer to see whether he is up to it or not? I have trouble believing this, though, given we are fighting tooth and nail for a CL place (or rather, we should be fighting tooth and nail...)

More informed and knowledgeable comments to inform this baseless, clueless speculation are welcome.
We should hold on to him as a spare corner flag.
