Re: bayern munich

it won't be our intention to sit back and counter attack . but we might be forced to do that if bayern get to dominate the midfield.

4-3-2-1 is what we must play. nasri in the hole. aguero on the left. we can win this game. im not convinced that bayern are a great team.

right so we've taken one of the platini darlings apart in the derby so lets do the same to Bayern. the place was rocking on sunday, anyone who can get to the game and make it the same again. we want to show uefa and everybody else that we've arrived and we are here to stay. we want a crowd and an atmosphere like sunday, like hamburg, like it used to be at MR.

can't friggin wait for this game.

I was too, but I think I'm going to be semi-conscious & will miss it... *&#TE$&#

If this does not sell out its a joke. We have waited years to participate at this level of football. The cost of tickets is no excuse £99 for all three games is a bargain.

I agree mate that these fixtures should be selling out. However, don't be too embarrassed if it doesn't. When Bayern played in the Olympic Stadium, some CL games were played in front of crowds of around only 20,000. The place looked absolutely empty and the atmosphere was flat. In fact, we needn't be embarrassed at all when it comes to Bayern Münich. Their Cup semi final against Hansa Rostock, back in 2000, was played in front of only 9,000 people. Also, their semi final against Stuttgart (Southern Derby) in the Olympic Stadium, was played in front of only 32,000. I could go on, but my point is, we don't have to be ashamed if we don't sell out. They've only been doing it since their move to the Allianz in 2006. In fact most german Clubs had crap crowds and a flat atmosphere before 2006. It's swings and roundabouts. They once envied our atmosphere.

In the old days there were small crowds but they were the exception rather than the rule, I've been watching Bayern since 1983 and have been at plenty 78,000 sell outs in the Olympiastadion.

As to next week's game I'm not thinking too much about that until we've got Wolfsburg out of the way this afternoon.

As long as us suckers keep paying the ever increasing prices for football the club will keep raising prices. So I've got no problem with anyone that says "enough is enough". To me any empty seats aren't an issue with the support, just the pricing.

78,000 sell outs? At the most, it held 69,000! I wasn't having a pop mate, was just pointing out to our fans that we shouldn't be ashamed for not selling out these games. I didn't need to look at stats either, as I remember those games well. It's right what I'm saying though, init Kumpel? ;)

Does anyone know of a pub that will be showing the game in Blackpool? Thanks in advance.

There's a boozer called the Ardwick down the road from Bony street market heading south. Quite a few flat screens in there and its £2.20 a pint.
