Flying out to saltzburg day of game fast train over to Munich then back via Salzburg next day, flying from gatwick

Anyone recommend any decent hostels around the Train Station? The hotels everyone have posted up here have gotten expensive! Never been here before!

I got the Maritim for £66 per night off Hotwire. I filtered it down to "station area Oktoberfest" and it was the 4* option.

In the Hilton Englischer Garten ( City will probably stay here btw)
Exec suite .3 of us @ 250 euros a night but with access to the exec suite for free breakfast, snacks and drinks

Booked our flights flying out from Manchester on the Monday at 8.55AM and staying in the Best Western ApartHotel Muenchen not far from Olympia Park (£57 per night).

The only thing is the shite return flight, 06.10 flight out of Munich the morning after the game!
