Booked our flights flying out from Manchester on the Monday at 8.55AM and staying in the Best Western ApartHotel Muenchen not far from Olympia Park (£57 per night).

The only thing is the shite return flight, 06.10 flight out of Munich the morning after the game!

Good luck with that flight home..........

He might as well just stay up!

Taxi 60/70 euros, no trains at that time.

Better hope they don't charge time an half too!

Match won't be finished until 11am local time and it can take 40 mins getting through the crowds onto the U Bahn after the game.

We got the last airport train when we were on the 6.10 flight.
Munich airport is one of the best in Europe. They have a 24hr McDonalds where you can get a beer. Loads of other stuff, bar football and TV's, comfy sofas if you wanna get your head down.

So there is S-Bahns from the inner city to the Flughafen all night through.

If still go into town centre and leathered for 4 hours, then grab a taxi last minute.

I am not sure that the taxi is faster and more relieable than to e.g. take the S-Bahn at Marienplatz and be there in 37 minutes.

When I look into googlemaps it tells me 35 minutes by car for the same route.

Even if the S-Bahn would take 10 minutes more - that would be very expensive 10 minutes...

I am not sure that the taxi is faster and more relieable than to e.g. take the S-Bahn at Marienplatz and be there in 37 minutes.

I got the taxi to the airport as I wanted to spend more time on the beer, that was for a 9:30pm flight too, As like drinking from 11am wasn't enough already!

Seems longer than 37 minutes on the train, stops at every station!

I know it wont help digger but the first airport shuttle bus from the centre is 05-40 14 euros return if you get it coming in
