Care to tell me the examples of the lack of respect that Bellamy has shown towards him?

This is a two way street by the way......................

Well if the media are to be believed, (and you either do or you don't, and I don't) allegedly moaning to the media about having two training sessions a day for starters, only a couple of weeks after Mancini arrived. Did he not allegedly refuse to turn up at one point ? Like I say you either believe the media or you don't, and you shouldn't cherry pick what suits.

Bellamy might be a decent player, but he's also a well known petulant sod, he didn't appear to accept his new boss, once his mate had left, and his performances went down almost from that day. That's not media hype, its the evidence of my own eyes.

There's no getting away with the fact that he was totally pissed off with the way that Hughes was treated by the club but some of the fans felt the same way and they didn't even know Hughes on a personal level?

When the dust settled he went about his work open minded about the situation and continued to put the graft in imo (check out the training threads about whos most vocal and hard working in training)

Re: Bellamy on his future

Pissed off is not the word. Bellamy should be one of the 1st names on the teamsheet. Our club will never get rid of the fuckups.

Add to this, Ireland and Onuoha city through and through and out of the system not been given a chance.

To be fair i think most issue i have and possibly others regarding the Ireland transfer is the vast sums of money involved to sign an averagely good player. Ned i just dont think he will make it but i am pleased he is only going out on loan - Bellars is just fookin unbelievable - especially when you also look at the Robiniho situation

Neds 89 appearances suggest he has been given a chance, good stopper, thats about it.

Obviously on about under Mancini. When given a good run of games he's a top defender, not the greatest distubrution(?) better than toure for me anyway.

I'll settle for my view of him in games thanks, he was excellent until Hughes went, and he faded after, I don't really care if he's vocal or hard working in training, its what happens on the pitch in matches.

Fact is he hasn't gone yet, and could start on Saturday, whether Mancini and him speak or not doesn't matter, I doubt Bellamy is fluent in Italian, its whether he plays for the team or Craig Bellamy that's most important.

They may not speak about golf, fishing, or even totty, but you can be sure they have spoken about football matters, they have to, and isn't that all they need to talk about ?

I agree

What must he be thinking as he wasn't included when he wants to stay and Robinho was and doesn't even want to be here?

-- Thu Aug 12, 2010 12:10 am --

If my future was at stake i'm damn sure i would want my manager to sit me down and talk about it..................not hear about it third hand?

If he goes then sobeit but by ignoring there's a problem doesn't mean it's not there..................

Re: Bellamy on his future

Goodbye Bellers

If he called Terry a nob then fair enough, if he says Ferguson is a pisshead then fair enough, if the queen decided to become a manager and called her a lesbian fair enough

If he opens his mouth against City then..

Goodbye Bellers

Re: Bellamy on his future

Bellers is one of our our best players, in the top 2-3 players of last season, the majority of fans on the terraces love him... he gets ovations just warming up.. regardless of any criticism on here, the fact is most won't be happy IF he is being forced out.
It stills looks to me like the press have blown his comments out of proportion, and speculating that City aren't happy bout it.
His performance for Wales tonight and his request to play the full 90mins, shows that he is ready to fight for his place at City just as he said he would, and it's shite if he isn't given the chance.

Bellers in trouble?

Taken from The Guardian -

Manchester City consider £190,000 fine for Craig Bellamy after outburst

• Forward may be fined two weeks' wages for comments
• Club have taken dim view of player's behaviour for months

Craig Bellamy's complaints against his perceived treatment at Manchester City could cost him up to £190,000, with the club so angered by his version of events they are giving serious consideration to fining the player two weeks' wages.
Bellamy's grievance against Roberto Mancini, claiming they had not spoken for six months, has led to a mixture of bemusement and irritation behind the scenes, with the chief executive, Garry Cook, and the football administrator, Brian Marwood, meeting to discuss whether disciplinary action is necessary.
The club are refusing to comment but it is understood they are looking closely at the interviews yesterday, in which Bellamy complained of being "pushed aside" and it being a "situation I find hard to get my head around", claiming last season's commitment had gone unrewarded. "There's a number of players, like Carlos Tevez and me, who he [Mancini] doesn't speak to and keeps us away," he said. "He hasn't spoken to me since February. I don't know if it's personal – he is like that with a lot of players, so maybe that's his manner."
Mancini, who takes a hands-on role with training, rejects this allegation, pointing out it would be virtually unworkable to manage the team without talking to his players. However, Bellamy's assertion that he is "unwanted" looks correct, as he has been left out of the squad submitted to Uefa for the Europa League qualifier against Timisoara. Stephen Ireland, part of the £26m package that will see Aston Villa's James Milner move to City, Jô and David Silva are also left out, the latter to manage his post-World Cup workload, but Robinho has been included and is due back in Manchester tomorrow following his six-month loan with Santos.
The feeling at boardroom level is that Bellamy has not only been selective with the truth but has also displayed extreme nerve portraying himself as the victim when, in reality, his behaviour has been a source of concern within the club ever since Mancini replaced Mark Hughes in December.
Bellamy has clashed with Mancini about wanting an individually tailored training schedule because of his knee problems and was the subject of an internal investigation into comments he allegedly made in the tunnel after the home defeat by Everton. That was the occasion when Mancini clashed with the Everton manager David Moyes, and Bellamy allegedly shouted in support of Everton's manager. The Welshman denied it and with noise in the tunnel making it hard to gather evidence, they decided not to reprimand the forward.
City were also outraged when Bellamy high-fived Harry Redknapp, the Tottenham Hotspurmanager, within minutes of the 1-0 defeat last May that ensured City would not be in the Champions League. Redknapp has been trying to sign Bellamy, and words such as "unprofessional" and "disrespectful" have been used among the City coaching staff. The view of City is that Bellamy has been cut a lot of slack,, rather than being the victim of what he described as a "ruthless" industry, and that if he was genuine about wanting to stay he has said exactly the wrong thing.
