Bellamy on his future (and the fall out) {merged}

Re: Bellamy on his future

The f cking hypocrisy on here is an absolute joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If Bellamy hasn't spoken to Mancini for 6 months, why the f uck is he speaking to Sky Sports News about his future before knocking on Mancini's door?!!!!

If Robinho had behaved like this he would be getting called a spoiled little cnut who's got no respect for the club!!! Going on about how badly club treats people, especially round last xmas, f uck you Bell end!!! You shouldn't be airing this view in the media, it should stay within the club!!! Could you imagine any other player at any other club getting away with this?!

He had a decent season last year but we don't need a disrupting prick like this at the club. He's done it at every single club he's been at, so no one should be suprised.

I don't have an opinion on whether Bellamy should be part of the 25 but....if Vieira is selected ahead of Bellamy (or Ireland) it will make no sense at all to me.

Why, is Bellamy a central midfield player?

Re: Bellamy on his future

think bellamy means he doesn't speak with Mancini on a social basis, ive seen them speaking on the touch line on many occasions.

I only speak with my boss about work related stuff, neither of us have a problem with that

oh your right there, he shouldnt ave spoke out, and i think everyone would agree with you on that
but some of the things he has said are , concerning

Re: Bellamy on his future

Strikers for the final 25:
Tevez, Bellamy, Adebayor, Balotelli (U21)

2 Big men, 2 Agressive secondary strikers. I don't see the problem. Offload Etuhu, Jo, Caiceido, Robinho and Cruz. Most other top teams only have 2-4 good strikers we have 4 awesome ones there. If we are to play the diamond we need aggresive front men.

Re: Bellamy on his future

This has been a bad day for City. Bellamy's performance in the interview for SSN has thrown it all into disarray. Absolutely no need for it. I cant see in what way he cant make the 25 Man squad. A poster the other day asked for the Forum members to do the " Math" ( Rammy Blue ?) -even with Balotelli, Milner and potential " Wow" signing you only have to lose maybe 2 players tops. Likeliest candidates, RSC, Ned, Jo, Big Phil, Robbie.

For Bellamy to say three different times in the interview he didn't think he would be in the Final 25 just stinks of a player who has been " tapped" up - and even worse than that a player who intends to rip his Employers off for every penny he can get - a deal with Celtic or Cardiff with us footing the Bill or a cut price deal to serious rivals Spurs.

Throw in the digs at Mancini and the complicity in siding with the Media Sky scum who attack City at every oppotunity and it gets even worse. Robbie never behaved as shabbily as this.

A really bad day and no need for it.

He's said the club can be ruthless - good! I want them to be, because sometimes you have to be ruthless to be successful.

He said Mancini doesn't speak with the players much on a social basis, again I would say this is fairly normal at the elite level. Capello is hardly chummy with his players but he's one of the most successful managers of all time.

The thing that worries me is players breaking ranks with the dressing room and seeking to further their own gains through the media. There is no other reason for him to do that interview other than to alert other managers in the league that he wants to leave. He won't issue a transfer request or say he wants to leave as he will lose his bonus. Prick

Can anyone remember a player who was so universally disliked as much as he was before he signed.
The fact that he turned that around to make himself arguably our best player for a huge part of last season and is now near the top of most City fans favourite players list is a huge credit to his professionalism and ability.
I hope he makes the 25, he is a credit to the club.

Can't think of any player over the decades I've been watching City who has transformed fans' feelings and made them, myself included, eat their words.
