Bellamy's been banned from the club

I have to question why any fan would defend a player for doing this. Above his club and manager. To say I find it insulting is an understatement.

You disagree, great, you don't need to post every two seconds.

And why are you taking it personally?

As for te other posts, footballers aren't loyal to clubs, they don't care about the fans... our team has to be reminded every season to come and acknowledge our existence at away games.

I guess theres a possibility Bellamy thought being chumy with Redknapp would help seal a deal there, but i'm sure there was smoke there before he did that.

Like i said, Bellamy has never shown with on or off field actions he wanted to leave. His initial disagreements seemed pretty fair (training).

But like i said, its over now now it seems, time to move on.

Bellamys betrayal is for me is wors than Terrys, because he do it with
his head Terry with his dick. He was my hero now he is forgotten as terry by some !

What do you mean ? There is nothing wrong with celebrating and laughing with the opposition manager at your own clubs failure to qualify for the champions league.

Well according to some on here.

Got to remember there is a lot of history to all this.

Anyone who thinks this is just about Bellamy and Mancini is missing the bigger picture.

Bellamy keeps on talking about the city bosses, plural. In May he said he would leave if 'the four or five people' who make decisions at the club failed to make him feel wanted.

The latest interview was not aimed entirely at Mancini. He said the 6 month thing but then back-tracked a bit and said Hughes was similar. What he said was that the club had shown themselves to be 'ruthless'. He was talking about the bosses sacking Hughes. Forget what it says about his attitude towards 'the badge' that I keep hearing about....I can see that the bosses would go ballistic at this. It paints them, and the whole club in a very bad light.

Now, add the controversy in the run up to the 4th place decider. Already at this point (the time of the decider) Bellamy had been repeatedly linked with a move back to Spurs.

Redknapp suggested that City had acted in an underhand manner in getting Bellamy in the first place, apparently we had threatened to interfere with his move for Palacios unless he backed out of his bid for Bellamy. The club threatened legal action.

THAT is why the handshake went down so badly. Forget the fact that he'd let their right back walk around him to score the deciding goal. Redknapp had made allegations towards the club, and Bellamy made a bee line for him as soon as the whistle.

Bellamy isn't at war with Mancini. He is at war with 'City' and has been for some time.

Bellamy is a 100% kind of player. He hates losing and drags people up by their boot laces. I loved him for that very reason.

Craig Bellamy will NEVER have congratulated the opposing manager in that fashion in his whole career, never mind after one of the biggest games in his own career playing for a club starved of success for so long.

He could have congratulated Redknapp in private.............the penny dropped yet?
Rumour has it he only did that because he thought it meant Mancini was finished and was buzzing, only to be horrified when Khaldoon entered the dressing room a few minutes later to let it be known he was staying.

If this is indeed true he should have been transfer listed immediately then.

Yep. Bridge also refused Mancini's handshake on the way off for the same reason apparently.

Small minded ego maniacs.

oh wow, is it really true that Bridge refused his handshake?

maybe that would explain why, in that video of the players coming back after summer, Mancini only appeared once... to shake Bridge's hand.

Can I ask why you think that ? Seriously.

These guys are paid the sort of money a week, most of us dream of getting in a year, to do something we would all probably kill to do, so why is double training, 3 hours instead of 1 1/2 hours a day so bad ?

The second session was tactical anyway. No running.

It's ridiculous that was ever brought up.
