Bellamy's been banned from the club

I think you should replace your or with an "and".

If we finish outside the top 4, even if we win a trophy, the Shiekh will not be happy and the manager will be out of a job. Which ties us in perfectly with another thread...

I could accept just top 4 2bh...a trophy would be nice.

Right, I have a question, and I want one name from you, seeing as you don't want Mancini here. Who would you bring in if you could get rid of him who's available, who's better with a better track record and plays football you like? Go on I want to hear it

I don't want Mancini sacked today and I don't know what the pool of candidates is, so it's a silly question.

Right so why do we need the undermining "if in 6 months he hasn't delivered.." crap when Fergie and Wenger have been at their clubs for over a decade minimum and when in reality very few managers of our calibre would be being sacked in 6 months time, it's not logical.

But anyway, I think the only replacement for Mancini is Mourinho, and a) he's not available and b) won't hang around, so I don't see the point.

His support work needs to be stronger 'upstairs' forget Cook and Marwood.

This where Khaldoon needs to be stepping in, if he is not already doing so.

With respect, I think we're a long long way from Khaldoon being any kind of regular or forceful presence around the club. If he were I'm sure we would not be currently handling this particular transitional period with all the finesse and grace of an angry elephant...

It's funny that Marwood's mouthpiece ran with the "Bellamy's been banned from training and sent to train with Cardiff" only for Cardiff to, in the last hour, deny any contact with City over him...

This is amateur night at the Apollo if you ask me. A club with our resources should not find it quite so difficult to deal with Bellamy, and certainly shouldn't need to do it's bidding via the cockney rag media...

Yep, it's more mismanagement at the top, no doubt.

It's easy to blame Cook because he comes across as a buffoon, but I think you touch upon an interesting topic.

Is Khaldoon the right man for the top job?

AN APOLOGY:[

Having awoken this morning with a thick head imagine my horror upon signing in to bluemoon to find a PM from one of the mods warning me as to my language and the use of a racist slur.

Having reread my offending post I can clearly understand the need for said warning.

For the record, and in mitigation, yesterday I posted on this thread:

- drunk
- coming off the back of an argument with my ex-wife
- already angry at bellend's behaviour.

None of the above is an excuse, you cannot excuse such base comments as describing Wales as I did.

I therefore apologise sincerely and profusely to ANYBODY that I offended.

Mea Culpa etc etc.

Wont happen again.

PS: I do still believe that Bellamy has behaved disgracefully and FULLY support what ever actions the club deem necessary to take.

For a start, a post on a message board doesn't "undermine" anyone. This is the real world, not some mythical cyber-reality.

For another, both Ferguson and Wenger have good records of achievements at their respective clubs. Their situation is different to Mancini who has achieved nothing for City yet, and has had limitless cash.

I'll say it again, if you think The Sheikh will sit around and let Mancini make excuses for 3 years, you're deluded. Didn't you learn anything from the Hughes sacking?

Everyone in football, including Mancini, knows that if he doesn't achieve this season he'll be gone.

Don't shoot the messenger if you don't like it, but that's the hard truth. And £500 million buys you the right to expect results, to be fair to the Sheikh.

We all love ADUG for the way they've changed our fortunes/prospects but thats not to say they can't be questioned when we think things could have been done better.

I for one have always wondered who's decision it was to allow Hughes to install his yes men all over the club, it looked like a recipe for disaster from day 1.
