blackburn sells, west ham doesn't

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce to BBC Sport:: "Cups don't mean anything any more. We worked our way to the League Cup semi-finals. It doesn't matter, what does is our Premier League status and getting points. They are secondary in our plight, especially with our injuries."

Imagine if BFS tried mind games.

Just bought my ticket in 110. Heard West Ham gave back half of their allocation, so how many are we expecting for this one?

Even if he thinks this, which is a pathetic attitude IMO he should STFU about it.

Too many unambitious managers talking down cup competitions and then wondering why they don't have the prestige they used to.

Fat Sam was one of the first to send out vastly weakened teams to cup competitions, and look at Bolton now.

We didn't sell out for the semi against Pool, why would this be any different?

sorry but for a competitive match at home I find 28k ish to be rather odd. for a cup semi more so.

Well when you look at how many games are in and around this fixture I think you have to be sympathetic with people.

Absolutely, the only thing is if and when this or any other cup final comes along someone will come on complaining about the loyalty system.

Club should have said priority will be given for the final should we get there to anyone attending this game regardless of ST or not and after cup scheme members. That would have got more interest.

So someone who gets a one off ticket for this game gets preference over people who have been to every game bar this one? Madness.

It may make a few ST holders decide to go!

Whats the point in loyalty points if people going to one game can instantly overtake you for cup final tickets?
