All shit today.

Pantilimon cost us big, Joe plays in the replay.

The sicknotes are really costing us now. Our squad is visibly tiring and Richards, Jovetic and Rodwell are nowhere to be found when needed.

Milner!!!! Arguably our BEST player.
Milner was absolutely shit today. If you think he was decent then you need to take a trip to your optician. Urgently.

I've not read all the pages but just got back and my MOTM was James Milner, Boyata was a liability, there was absolutely no need for that foul and he deserved to be sent off. Lescott played a good Captain's role, if you noticed he was giving instructions and encouraging the players. Garcia had one of his better games and although it was a dreadful result it wasn't too bad a game. If Joe Hart had dropped the ball the way Pants did the flack for him would have sent Bluemoan into overdrive!! IMHO

At this rate with all the games we have to play and pay for there will be nothing left for my kids to inherit!! :-)

Re: "Squad Players" not doing enough.

Some squad players are not doing enough on the pitch because they are never fit. If Richards, Guidetti Jovetic and Rodwell had been available we may have won the game comfortably. But that is speculation on my part as they are never fit.

The fact that these four (and it must be frustrating on their part) are rarely able to play is putting more pressure on our A Listers.

Boyata and Garcia are too slow in thought and movement

Why does it always have to be black or white?Clearly he wasn't great but he wasn't shit either. Put in a great shift as he always does but not every thing came off despite getting some good balls across.

Re: "Squad Players" not doing enough.

"Aside from James Milner" it was one the poorest games he's had for city he was hopeless all day, over running the ball giving it constantly to them. His control and corners we're no better.

Re: "Squad Players" not doing enough.

Exeter Blue I am here said:
Not just that they don't do enough, it's that they're not that good. The lack of pace and athleticism down the spine of the team was horrendous. Fernandinho can't be expected to do it all. An ideal opportunity for Lopes to have a crack......and he gets left on the bench

Not that good is a relative term though: we have players who when they get a chance coudl and should do better.

There was a disticnt lack of pace today and - although I am not as obsessed by it as you - City do need to introduce progessively more as the squad evolves; just not at the expense of technique.

I'm not sure if it's worthwhile reading past this part?
