some of the reaction this season is nothing short of aftv ,and people should take a long hard look at themselves, they are showing themselves up, football isnt all about glory, ups and downs and to be honest if you think this is a down then you know fuck all about supporting manchester city.

the place is full of wums and its really about time something was done about them, they feed negativity into every topic, and sadly those weak minded easily led posters get swept up in it, the mods really need to get a grip, because bluemoon resembles a bbc comments page, the match and post match threads are nothing short of a 14 years olds rant on twitter, and these people claim to be adults.

its getting harder and harder to read any topic without the wums infiltrating it, the owner and mods really need to think what they want from bluemoon, because quite frankly its embarrassing, other fans must look at us in the same way we looked and despised united , self entitled hyper children who sway like the wind.

i enjoy other fans on here, its good to get an outside opinion,i genuinely love talking football, but not the sneaky snidy leeches we have on here, and its getting very tiring to wade through the negativity day after day.

think ill stay on the angling page,a rose in a sea of shite, because if im honest its high quality discussion ,advice and thoughts, no wumming , no snide comments, just fishing.

Frankly why throw billions at any club unless you want to see improvement.. this isn’t typical City any more and people have every right to see consistency and not the dross we’ve seen at times this season.. if people really can’t live with the bar being set so high (by us and based on recent seasons) then there are lots of lower league clubs who need support

I agree wholeheartedly with the OP.
Too many here obviously spoiled by the last decade’s success can’t handle not winning on a regular basis.
To be fair we’ve had a brilliant period of sustained dominance domestically and it’s just not realistic to keep this going ad infinitum.
I’ve supported this club for nigh on 50 years and have taken much rough with the smooth. I guess many on this forum have not had to endure the dark times of the 80s and 90s and we just have to accept the fact that we now do have a contingent of glory hunters. It happens to all big clubs and that’s the price we have to pay for being one now.
I don’t think anyone who calls for the manager to go based on the recent results should be able to call themselves supporters as what they do is unsupportive by its nature. I am sure it’s borne out of frustration which we all feel but the reaction is irrational to put it mildly.
Criticism should be constructive as simply asking for people’s heads achieves v little in my experience.
People should stop spitting their dummies out and appreciate the fact they’ve been incredibly lucky to witness at first hand the best football team this country has ever seen.

So because we used to be shit, that means we should have no standards? Come off it, these are people who are paid a lot of money and they are not doing that job well. I don’t expect us to win every week but West Brom who are in 19th shouldn’t be getting a point against us. We’ve been playing poorly for 18months and that is worthy of criticism

If we play well I’ll say, if a player does a great pass I’ll say, great finish etc..
But on the flip side of that I’ll also say, giving the ball away with a sloppy pass I’ll say, missing a sitter I’ll say..
One thing I won’t stand for is not giving your all and we aren’t doing that on the pitch or the sidelines right now.
I’ve said it before, we know longer pass with the speed we used to, we no longer move to find space, we don’t press without the ball, we do but it’s all half arsed or for small spell in the game.
Our work ethic has dropped off a cliff.
I was happy with the way we played against the scum, not particularly happy about playing in that way but more because we aren’t able to play the way we used to, so playing to our strengths so to speak.
We looked solid, hard to break down, yeah our attack suffered but thought we’d find a balance, I thought we’d turned a corner.
But yesterday we didn’t even really try, looked shaky at the back, slow in midfield (except Gundog) and up front, well we all know.
We didn’t look like we cared.
So again I’ll say.
If wanting my players to work hard and play to their strengths makes me spoilt, then I’m spoilt.
I don’t expect centurions football every week, but I do expect some effort and some pride.
